Welcome to Sundown RV Park and Campground, conveniently located right in the town of Grangeville. We are within walking distance of restaurants, grocery store/deli, Family Dollar Store, a department store, hospital and churches. Although a small town, Grangeville is by far the largest within an hour and a half, and has many more amenities than the smaller towns in the area. Most cell phones can get reception in Grangeville, and we have free WIFI. As new owners we knew this little park needed some TLC and improvements so we got to work. So far we have added new gravel, signs, electrical meters, and 4 retaining walls, flower planters, and have worked hard to clean and spruce up the property.

Our pull-through sites 1-9 are big convenient for getting in and out quickly with an RV. Motorhomes, the hookups are toward the back, so if you are pulling a car, you might have to disconnect your vehicle. Great option for toy haulers. #29 is much smaller than the rest, not quite as nice, and normally you would have to disconnect, and park your tow vehicle by the restrooms. #30 requires 2 sewer hoses, if you want to be hooked up. At the end of July 2024, or early august, sewer updates will be made so that won't be necessary. we have dumping facilities that may be accessed at the end of your stay if that is preferred. reservations are automatically upgraded to the best space if they come available the day before your arrival.

Back-In

Our back-in sites have a hill behind them that offers some privacy, and have some trees. If you have a MOTORHOME and you are towing, you will need to disconnect to use a back-in space. Usually trailers and 5th wheels can stay hooked up if desired. Not a good option for most toy haulers.

Pull-Through II Site 10

Our pull-through sites convenient for getting in and out quickly with an RV. #10 is a narrower space and shorter, with room for 1 slide out on the drivers side only. small space. Most RV holding tanks will hold plenty of water for 3 days or more. Restrooms and showers are available.

Comfortable and easy
Good RV park to stop in for a night or two. Easy in and out with big pull throughs suitable for Class A motorhome towing car without disconnecting in some spaces. Full 30 amp hook up, restrooms, showers, laundry, very comfortable and restrants and store close by. Can walk from park around town. Grangeville is a friendly little town with all the needed amenities. Park is quiet and has several trailers with nurses and construction workers, so no kids and it was very quiet. Camp hosts were friendly. It was nice to cool off in Grangeville!
