Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
An open field with awesome mountain views and a gateway to all the recreation the St. Joe River has to offer. Including: ATV/single track trails, floating or kayaking the river, fishing/hunting. Full Electric at each of the 6 sites -- 20/30/50AMP Service. Potable water onsite. Scotts Park (boat launch) is 3 miles away. There is also a boat launch across the river at the Shadowy St Joe Campground.Each site is similar in nature and amenities—electrical service and amazing views. 20/30/50 AMP service at each of the 6 sites. Water IS available for filling tanks—see pictures for the map showing the well/hydrant location. River access is available around the corner via state land or approx. 3 miles down the road at Scott’s Park where there is a waterfront park and boat launch. Endless miles of mountain and forest roads are just across the street.
