Beautiful views, quiet and comfortable. I only spent a quick night here on my way back east. It was way more space than I needed but it was nice to have the whole area to myself.
I mainly chose this spot since everything in and around Jackson was way too expensive.

Absolutely stunning! The area is beautiful and was a perfect spot to camp. You can hear so many doves and birds, and in the distance you can hear cows. I really enjoyed the hammocks that are set up. The port-a-potty was clean and only shared by one other campsite. Both campsites were spaced far apart so I didn’t even hear them there.

We stopped here on our way out of Teton and what a wonderful place to finish our trip. Clear signage, clean, beautiful views, and a quiet experience were highlights of this campsite. Would absolutely stop again.

Perfect, quiet little oasis :)
This was the perfect little getaway! It was in a very quiet, and secluded spot and the sunsets and sunrises were AMAZING! The few days we were here, we woke up to herds of elk grazing in the field :) it was so peaceful! It was about an hour and a half away from GTNP, but I prefer to be out of the cities when I camp anyways, so this was perfect and the drive to and from was one I didn't mind doing, anyways, because the VIEWS!! Make sure to go see Fall Creek Falls nearby :)

I was looking forward to staying here since I booked it! It did not disappoint. The area is so beautiful and Peter chose a beautiful spot to set up so that there's privacy and a view of rolling hills. I loved that my dogs were able to be dogs and had room to run. If I'm lucky to be in the area again I think I'll take advantage of the horseback riding and trails more.

Peter's campsite was a great place to stay during our time in Swan Valley. It is very secluded and has tons of space. I think it is a former pasture, so there is a bit of very old cow dung around and maybe a higher amount of flies because of that, but no mosquitos! The place is very convenient to the Snake River and the rest of the valley. The 6 gallon jug of potable water was a great benefit. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Privacy, quiet, beautiful vistas and a thoughtfully created camping spot.
Elk roamed through on the opposite hillside and groundhogs made for good dog entertainment.
Hammocks in the trees, Adirondack chairs, access to an outhouse and the platform made this a great work spot for the week. (Fantastic Verizon service). The area is on a hillside, but with some creative leveling my van was fine for sleeping.
Hosts are responsive and warm hearted, and clearly take good care of the land as well as their guests.

Very private spot, well situated with the aspen grove behind the site and beautiful view of the mountains and fields. Road got very muddy due to the rain during our stay but was passable. Great little pond for kayaking and good access to local hikes and water areas.

Beautiful place to stay! So quiet and peaceful. Great place for evening walks just from the campsite but also close to town and amazing hikes, rivers, falls, reservoirs. The road in was a bit muddy after an unusually heavy rainstorm but the owner was close and attentive. Nothing a good pressure wash can’t fix.

It was a perfect stay for our needs. We were coming from Colorado to raft in Idaho. It is easily accessible from the highway, but far enough away that it was quiet. The property is beautiful with stands of aspens and pine trees. We slept on the platform which was great. There are nice touches such as Adirondack chairs, fire rings, hammocks and water cans. I had stayed in Swan Valley before, but the campsite was right on the highway and a bit noisy.

We were able to bring our dogs, and the tent area has good shade and the best view! Just know that the tent camping is in a separate area go to the Aspen Hill location. We were happy to be away from the cabin area and have so much open space to ourselves. There was fire wood, chairs and a great fire pit. Looking forward to returning soon!

This meadow is absolutely gorgeous. A short 50min drive to Jackson, WY. Perfect for setting up camp for a few days. The site was beautiful, clean, and firewood/water was provide(huge plus). I would definitely recommend staying here.

The campsite borders on a birch grove and has an amazing view of the surrounding area. At night, you can see an infinite number of stars, and in the morning hear all kinds of birds singing and the birch leaves rustling. We brought our dog, Akai, and she had a blast! She would run around for hours eating grass.
(There are a lot of insects, so be prepared!)

The spot was gorgeous. Fairly secluded, feels very private, yet it’s conveniently located and not hard to get to. Love the proximity to heise hot springs. There was plenty of firewood for the two nights we stayed with lots left over. There are tons of gorgeous wildflowers, wildlife (we saw little baby weasels), and the creek was so cute. The host was super responsive and was quick to respond. We had a bit of a snafu with our site when we got there and someone else was in the site we booked, which ended up being fine since we just used the other site and it was great. The hammocks were fun, the shade was lovely, and even though there were bugs, it wasn’t crazy. We pitched 3 tents and there was plenty of room in the shade for all of them. All in all, we’ll for sure be back and would definitely recommend these spots!

A beautiful location to camp. A perfect amount of shade and seclusion. The hammocks are a great touch!
The wood available is either small or large pieces with not much in between so either bring your own logs or be prepared to split some of the bigger ones!

Peter’s private camping spot was beautiful! Well equipped with anything I could need with a mountain view. I really enjoyed relaxing under the trees in the hammock reading in the afternoons with my puppy sleeping beside me. Peter was quick to respond when we were running low on water and brought more out within the hour. If your looking for a nice quiet getaway with beautiful views you’ve found the right listing.

Excellent spot to camp. Beautiful aspen trees everywhere. Cool 1.5 (ish) mile hike to the top of the ridge. Follow the dirt “road” between the two camp sites. Plenty of firewood, water / porta are a bonus. Lots of bird watching. I’d come back for sure. Very far away from other camp site. Little bit of highway noise but zero effect on my experience. Incredible night skies.

Our family loved Aspen Hills #2. It was beautiful, especially at sunset. Our kids loved playing in the hammocks and exploring in the trees.
Providing plenty of logs for firewood (bring an ace) and a container of water is an appreciated addition.
The two campsites are far enough away from each other you hardly know others are there. And the site is shady.
As a bonus the outhouse was freshly cleaned out- that’s never happened before!🙂
