Red Barn Retreat – Farm & Forest Family Camp Looking for a quiet spot to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature and your loved ones? Welcome to Red Barn Retreat, your peaceful North Idaho escape with the perfect blend of farm charm and outdoor adventure. Nestled at the edge of a small working farm, this spot is ideal for families, small groups, or solo travelers looking for a laid-back campout in a beautiful rural setting. Enjoy the company of friendly goats and chickens, and as a special touch, we include a dozen fresh farm eggs with every stay. There’s space for one RV or trailer (under 35 feet or so) with power and water hookups, plus room for multiple tents. Park your extra vehicles or boat trailers with ease—we’ve got plenty of space. Well behaved doggos are welcome but must remain on leash at ALL times and may not be left at the campsite unattended. While not totally private (we and a tiny home neighbor live on the property as well), the vibe is quiet, friendly, and welcoming. Expect birdsong in the morning, beautiful sunsets in the evening, and a sky full of stars at night. You’re close to everything: 10 minutes to Willow Bay Marina & Priest River boat launch 20 minutes to Round Lake State Park 30 minutes to downtown Sandpoint 30 minutes to Silverwood Theme Park Whether you're cruising the Pend Oreille River, hiking nearby trails, or just lounging in the sun with a view of the roaming cows, soaring eagles and wooded mountains, you’ll get the best of both worlds—a real farm experience with North Idaho’s wild beauty right behind you. It’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable, relaxed, and full of charm. A perfect home base for all your weekend adventures. Lots of space for tents as well. The spot can accommodate about a 30-35ft RV/trailer. This is a great spot for a large group to camp together. Please reach out if you intend to have a larger caravan. There is a tiny home located next to the RV spot with a tenant. Please be considerate of them and do not disturb.

RV spot

Great spot on the far edge of host's farmland. Plenty level enough and electricity and water are easily accessed. Our hosts were lovely and available for any questions we had. Very quiet (normal farm animal noises occasionally). Afternoon shade was wonderful. Plenty of privacy if desired.
