Mountain River Ranch is a beautiful, clean, quiet, RV park and campground; open May through October. With stunning mountain views, a quaint pond and a charming western town on the property, there is something for everyone. We offer 64 spacious RV sites and several camping areas for your enjoyment. We also have cabins throughout the grounds. Please give us a call to better assist you with length of RV and amp requirements; 30 amp or 50 amp. We look forward to your stay with us!

Bring the family and have a wonderful camping experience at Mountain River Ranch this year! We are just 30 miles north-east of Idaho Falls in the beautiful Heise, Idaho area. We offer a unique ranch style RV/tent camping experience at our spacious, safe, and clean 64 site RV park. This site #56 is a back-in with 30 amperage at 40 feet in length. This site has its own firepit, but a shared grass area. We do not have sewage hookups to this site, but we do have a dump station at the campground. We allow 1 vehicle per site. Unfortunately the sites only have room for 1 vehicle each, but we do have parking in the front of the campground. Check-in time is 3pm and the check-out time is 11am. Quite time is 10pm. We do offer wifi but because we are in the woods the service is spotty in some places, and is sometimes down. We do allow pets for a small pet fee of $7.00 The max guests is 4 people per RV site, however you may add extra guests for $7.00 each. Please no mats/rugs on the grass. Very warm welcome, this was a nice place to stay: calm, shade from mature trees, pond to refresh…. What more could we ask for! I would go there again if I am back in this region. Thanks Mountain River Ranch!

Super cute themed campground with a variety of options from RV to Yurt clamping. The lake golfing challenge is really fun and you can kayak, swim, canoe, or go for a stroll around the shady park. Friendly hosts and residents are kind and welcoming. Make memories here with your family, like I did with mine!

We had a great stay at Mountain River’s. The hosts were welcoming and showed us to campsite. Our dogs loved the swimming hole on the property. It was a great way to cool them down on a hot day. We couldn’t have asked for more from our hosts.

Hidden Gem!

I loved this campground, little hidden gem for sure! The amenities were nice, they had a small swimming pond with canoes, life jackets, etc all for the guests to use! Bathrooms are clean and easily accessible. Cabins, glamping tipis and rv/tents sites available. Very close to a river great for fishing and watching sunsets ! The hosts were great & kept the property very nice and clean ! My kid had a lot of space to run around without worrying about heavy traffic! overall, i would love to come back someday. only con: the bathrooms need benches or a changing table just anything to be able to dry/dress babies or place items on while showering inside the shower stalls.

Arrived and there was a family reunion going on and it ran late. camp host couldn't find my booking. found eventually. Fire fire ring useless unless you want to set fire to your RV. The host Jack was pleasant helpful and understanding of our break down on the RV. A good guy

We stayed a week here. It was awesome. The place is under new management snd itbis a work in progress but they have done a great job. Hosts, owner and staff were all amazing. Bathrooms and showers were Clean!!! I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at Mountain River we friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate the gentleman that brought us our fire wood. They made it easy to enjoy our trip. I would highly recommend Mountain River Ranch.

Pretty place. Our spot was tight and i felt like we were packed in like sardines. There are 3 spots by the pond and a whole other section with roomier spots. Request one of those spots. Nice clean bathrooms and showers!

Just ok. Clean and friendly but disappointing location. Next time I'm in the area i will try to be closer to the mountains (Driggs'ish). Unless you have a drift boat for the Snake River or want to play golf, you're driving for 45 minutes for views of the Tetons or an exciting trailhead.

Quiet and peaceful
RV Camping At Mountain River Ranch
Host gave excellent directions on how to get there and was very attentive. She gave us the option of where to put up our tent as she had multiple spaces. Restrooms we're very clean and it was very quiet. We had no complaints but would like to add a bit of advice to those who stay. 1. It's surrounded by cottonwood trees so if you have an allergy, you might want to come prepared with allergy meds. 2. Watch out for the"dog bombs". I would like to clearly state, this is not the hosts fault! It is the dog owners responsibility to clean up after their dogs. No one likes to clean that off the bottom of their tent. PLEASE, clean up after your dog.
