Ron was a very accommodating host with some of my last minute travel plans. The site was well-kept, clean and nice. Farm was super easy to find. A-frame platform was cute and useful. The toilet was clean and a place for trash is available too. I felt very safe, and it really is a beautiful farm and site.
Cons: sites are very close to each other, the flies and mosquitoes are out of control (even with citronella candles + bug spray). These things are a given when camping, but the final straw that gave me mixed feelings was the ground wasn’t quite leveled and I stepped in a grass-covered hole and rolled my ankle.

The rv pad under the trees is perfect. Even this week with temps over 90 it was fine to hang out there. It’s so nice to be able to see our horses in the pasture. They provide fire pit with firewood, picnic table, electricity, portapotty and new this year is a hammock.

Wonderful camping spot and fantastic hosts. The property was gorgeous and easy to get into with our camp trailer. Electric and water hook ups were easy and made the trip very comfortable. Having a dump location on site was extremely convenient. Ron, the camp host met us when we arrived and helped us get settled and then gave us our privacy. They provided camp fire wood, a very nice fire ring, shuffle board/curling game board, picnic table, and circle swing hammock of sorts. Site was very easily accessible, private, but also close to town. Loved the farm setting - felt like home! Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises over the mountains.

The spot here is soooo peaceful and the hosts couldn't have been kinder. The ground works very well for people who have mobility issues. There are not potholes or anything to trip over and a wheelchair can be pushed very easily. We will be back here yearly and so appreciate their support for people with disabilities in our community. Thank you with our whole hearts!!!

On the last night of vacation as we were driving home, an accident closed the 84. Everyone was scrambling to find a place to stay - all rooms, camp sites, trailer parks, etc were full. I remembered we had Hipcamp so did a search, found a place out of town with an opening, did all the on-line applying and paying, found the place in the dark with Ron's excellent directions. We quietly set up our little trailer and went to bed. In the morning we woke up to cool air, birds singing, gorgeous old trees rustling above us, a picnic table, water, electricity, games, all the amenities you would want. After the stress of the day before, the sights, sounds of that beautiful ranch were the perfect antidote to the stressful day before. We had miles to go to get home in time so sadly had to leave FTITM - even though Ron texted us that we were welcome to stay until later. Ron was a great & communicative host. So the last night of our trip, though unplanned, ended up being the loveliest place of all! We will be back just to enjoy!

This place is a little slice of heaven - I wish we could have stayed more than one night! Ron and Lisa are so warm and helpful and they have horses, chickens, dogs, and little quail flock running around wild! The view looks like it cannot be real, but it is. The shade is wonderful and I didn't realize that the site has electricity that was perfect for our small popup camper - and access to water and a place to dump sewage. We felt privileged to be able to stay there - what a treat! And there is a porta-potty as well!

It was terrible, you should never go here! Beautiful views, under a few giant shade trees, with a great fire pit overlooking the Emmett Valley. Ron and Lisa are fantastic hosts and their property is just tranquil. Even the horse look at peace. Again, please don’t go here so our return dates are available.

There will not be a more gracious host! They have VERY thoughtfully set up this camp space with your comfort, peace and enjoyment in mind. I actually wanted to film in this location because it’s so incredible but unfortunately my subject’s availability didn’t align. I still might if I can make it work! Back to their offering….they have incredibly beautiful and welcoming animals all about the farm. FRESH delicious eggs delivered to your site when ordered. NOBODY and NOTHING will disturb you here. It is just nothing but beauty all around you and truly an amazing little mini forest of trees to cover your rig or tent with just enough shade that the light peaks through to make it absolutely perfect. Seriously perfect right down to a thoughtful trash bin at the site with a trash bag so you bag your dog mess and toss it in! So easy and thoughtful. WONDERFUL hosts who are very responsive and truly kind people. You will want to return for sure!!

We had a beautiful weekend at Mini Acres Farm! Brought my parents + my dog for a peaceful camping weekend, and this area was wonderful! The hosts were just lovely, the camps site was clean and convenient, the property had gorgeous views, lots of shade trees, and the horses were such a treat to see! Can’t wait to enjoy our farm fresh eggs we got to take home as well!!

I absolutely loved camping here! It is so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. It was only 20 minutes from where my son is and a beautiful drive.
Though my dogs were caught off guard by horses, they had never seen one, even they were more relaxed than usual.

The view of the valley was just lovely. Ron was so welcoming and we highly recommend getting their farm fresh eggs. The space was private with shade trees that will help keep things cool in the warmer months. The space had a fire pit with firewood included. Very charming place to stay with an attentive host. Do note there are horses, ponies, and chickens on the property, so there may be some smells and sounds associated -but nothing bad - it was a great experience!

We camped in a 25’ Class C. It was beautiful and serene. Horses and pony’s to watch. Tons of Green grass to picnic or walk dog. 30 amp power and a dump that was a short distance (no hookup). Hose water available. Ron was very helpful. It rained hard and became muddy behind the RV space, so that could be a problem if you need to leave when the ground is still wet, without 4WD. It’s not close to anything, but didn’t matter to us. It was so peaceful to hang out and enjoy.

Our family had a great time here. It's a beautiful and quiet place where we got to see and hear the horses. We enjoyed the fire pit at the campsite, as well as the large grassy field just beyond the campsite. It was convenient to have our camp trailer plugged in, and to fill our water tank right there too. We used this as our base camp for daily trips to the various towns and nearby activities.

This has been one of my favorite hipcamps! Ron and his wife are so nice and have everything you could possibly need. Drinkable water, fire wood, electricity, bathroom, horses, italian plums and beautiful scenery! Would definitely stay here again.

Ron was the best host ever! His communication was excellent and he was very responsive to all our requests. The spot we stayed was very quiet and beautiful. Plenty of room for our 30 trailer. We enjoyed sitting out in the evening watching the sun fall over the fields.

Overall, it was a good stay. Comfy accommodations, clean area, plenty of room and useful appliances, as well as a quiet environment on a farm.
The one downside was the smell inside. I know it’s a motorhome toilet, but the smell was coming from all drains and spouts and really made it difficult to relax. I’m sure the dump tank was overdue for a cleaning causing the smell to avoid dissipating, but just incase I would bring a strong air freshener with you.

We were fortunate to be able to stay in the guest RV as well as the tent site during our stay in Idaho. The property is awesome. If you enjoy a quiet laid back farm atmosphere. This is the perfect place. Ollie and Ripley ( the resident dogs) supply any doggie fix you may be craving.
Ron and Lisa were wonderful hosts. We look forward to staying there again .

We had the pleasure of staying at the guest house RV as well as the tent site. Ron and Lisa are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The property is very quiet and serene. Ollie and Ripley(resident dogs) are very sweet and are ready and waiting to be pet. The farm also has horses ducks and chickens giving you the full farm experience. We would highly recommend staying here. It was awesome!!!
