Early season in the pop up
Alan and his wife were great hosts and have a great place to stay. This was an early season trip before the parks open and close to home to test out our new pop up camper. This was the perfect spot, easy to get to and quiet country setting. My wife and I and our dog were the only ones there but there were other sites scattered around his property mixed in the poplar trees. Great views all around of wide open country with the sounds of wildlife and farm animals. There is a path around the property line following the canal and plenty of grass throughout. Great place to stay.

Havenwood Tent Site in the Trees
Alan was friendly and had the camp clean and ready for use. The current shop toilet and sink setup was great. Much better than portable.

The camping area was very clean and well equipped, firewood already in place :). The hosts were very nice and helpful. The campsite was quiet and peaceful. We felt very safe. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding farm country.

Peaceful property
We had a great stay at Alex property. So peaceful and enjoying the walk around the property. Beautiful sunset and we were fortunate to be there on a super harvest moon. This was our 2nd stay in our 38 ft fifth wheel and highly recommended this Hip Camp.

Havenwood Tent Site in the Trees
We will definitely return to camp at Alan’s if we are ever in the area again. We had a warm welcome and a perfect overview of the site and the accommodations. The tent spot was nestled in the trees where it was beautiful and quiet. I loved the swing and watching the sunset.
