Glacial Ridge RV Park

Great spot close to Coeur d' Alene. It was nice to have electrical hookups. Loved the string lights! It did get a bit noisy at times with the proximity of the highway and a shooting range close by. We loved the surroundings and our site felt private. The goats were adorable! Would stay here again.

This is an amazing site! We came in after 10pm and we were still able to register for a spot and directions were sent through the app. It was so easy to find. There was motion sensor lights to help us back in our RV. Only the lights at our site went on which was nice so if there are other RVs then their lights wouldn't go on and disturb them (though we were the only ones there). It was so quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise even though you are very close to the highway. No problems and felt safe. Very easy hook up, even for people that don't know much about RVs. :) Wonderful experience! 100% recommend this site!

The site was fantastic. Power, trash, table and lights were all great. I wish a tent site was a little more level but it was totally fine. The trail to the goats and garden was wonderful. My kids loved it and begged to go ever chance they got. We met the owners down there and they were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend.

Peaceful Little Spot

This is a really special place! We loved our wooded site. It was quiet and peaceful, and located in a lovely rural area. Our daughter was able to ride her bike around a gravel loop, and we all took walks down to visit the goats and chickens. It’s very welcoming with light strung up and a sweet sign with camping “rules” (all the things to enjoy when camping). And it’s only 10 minute drive from Silverwood, Would stay here again for sure.

Everything was lovely!! Site was so clean and set up really well. Quiet spot. Really enjoyed our stay. You could tell the hosts have thought about all the ways to make it comfortable and cozy. The short walk to the goats, chickens, and beautiful garden were all a bonus.

This is the second time for us staying at Norman's land. Both times was during our visit to Silverwood. The place is at a convenience distance from the park. It's secluded and quiet, perfect for a well rested night between our two days adventure. We will definitely be coming back again.

Norman‘s land was amazing. He was an even better host. You have quick easy access to Silverwood and triple play both under 20 minutes away. It was nice and quiet! Loved that he had both 50amp and 30amp right at the camp sight and no need to run cord long distances. The Kids loved the kids “goats” a quick walk down the hill. The walking path was just enough to burn off your children’s energy while you drink your morning coffee. 10 out 10 would recommend again. We will definitely be back!

Nice sites with decent separation, string lights were a nice touch. BBQ pedestal is nice, hope fire restrictions ease up so people can use them. Clearly marked entrance and sites are decent to back into. Trail is clearly marked and a nice 1/2 mile walk.

We ended up not staying at the site. We have a 35 foot class A mh, trying to get through the trees was almost impossible. I did not feel comfortable after backing into the site with the close quarters.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Norman’s camp spot #3. It was clean and well maintained. We had a toy hauler and had plenty of room to drop the tailgate and sit on our patio. The surrounding area is beautiful. We kayaked on Lake Pend Orielle which was less than 30 minutes away.

Theme Park Camping

Glacial Ridge was an amazing stay! Minutes from the theme park and restaurants, and on a Sunday-Tuesday we had no neighbors. While in a residential area, the space felt secluded and safe. No bathrooms or showers, but if you plan ahead it’s not a problem. The hosts also provide garbage cans at each site, making it easy to leave it better. There’s also a small trail to follow through the forest. 10/10 will camp again!

The space was GREAT! This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was above our expectations. The area was well marked and easy to find. The space was just as described and felt like you were far from the road. We went to Silverwood and the commute was very close. Would stay again!

Great Location for Silverwood

25 ‘ RV fit easily in the long site. Very clean, private, and easy to find. Electricity and trash bin were much appreciated. Our only problem was that it was difficult to get our RV level because of the slopes both front to back and side to side. The location was fabulous for our visit to Silverwood.

Loved staying here! It felt safe and private and was set in the most beautiful forest. The goats were an added bonus and walking down to see them was so fun! Overall would absolutely stay again if I were in the area!

We had a great weekend at Glacial Ridge! The site was very easy to get to and the layout provided plenty of space for backing in our 35 foot travel trailer. Located just outside of Hayden it was a great spot for a lake trip as well as Silverwood. No trip to this site is complete without visiting the goat pen! Our kids made it a point to visit a few times a day. Norman and his wife were great hosts and let the kids visit with the goats during their evening meal. If you're stuck on where to stay for a weekend while in the area this is the place to be! Look forward to getting out there again soon!

Nice quiet site in the woods, with just a little noise from the lumber mill if outside of the trailer. The farm animals and garden were fun to visit, especially the baby goats.

Cute little spot. We tent camped and had plenty of space. Our kids absolutely loved the goats! The neighbors or someone who lives close by were shooting guns late at night and some other very loud explosions that made us a little uneasy, but other than that it was a great place to stay.
