Once a thriving Christmas tree farm of 230 acres, Annie Tomlinson left her legacy for the love of trees in the hands of her son Christopher Robin, who runs his ten acre wood property with the same respect and appreciation for the natural world that was passed down to him. There is a five year development plan in motion that will offer the visitor a bird's eye view of what is possible when it comes to self sufficiency. There are plans for on site renewable energy generation and a food forest design that will feature nuts, berries, herbs, native medicinals, and wild foraging delights. Treehouses are also in the planning stages and will be offered for accommodations as well. A pristine natural setting with Class 1 riparian features offers the camper a private, secluded, back to nature experience like no other!  Learn more about this land: 62 yr. old would be Engineer and Inventor, sometimes writer, permaculture landscape designer, and master mechanic, with a determined bent towards back to the land endeavors. Christopher Robin Lyman is owner of ECOS Eden Adventures at Hoodoo Mountain Idaho, where he and his partner (Cindy the ultimate adventurer) are building a permaculture demonstration site on ten acres of diverse forest habitat. They offer hands on training and education in the design science of practical living and developing all kinds of skills for long term sustainability. A five year development plan is under way to establish enough layers of pioneer fruit and nut trees to create a biologically diverse perennial food forest that will last for generations to come.  "There are no shortcuts to quality."

Rob was a very welcoming and warm host. He gave us a tour around the property and explained some of the permaculture designs that are in place. After a long drive, sleeping on the edge of wilderness was wonderful. We were greeted by two very friendly dogs during our stay and left the next morning with a bowl of freshly picked raspberries!

Got to experience the real Idaho here. It was within 30 minutes of the popular attractions. Well worth the drive.
