This parcel was once part of a larger homestead in the area. It directly borders over 500 acres of land managed by the Idaho Department of Lands. My home is a large A frame that has been added onto in three different directions, hence the name Hodge Podge Lodge. Learn more about this land: Grassy lane to put your camping vehicle on. David's property was perfect for my wife and I as we were traveling through town. There were several sites to choose from, potable water, and a nice fire ring/table area. It was very clean, quiet, and private. David was super welcoming and we would 100% stay again!

Rustic campsite, yes recommend!
Rustic, with the buzz of crickets and coyotes. David ran out to meet us, gracious and helpful though we had to hit the road early. Fresh water, flat grass, beautiful dark, and a quiet rest. Loved it, would come back.

David’s place is perfect! Private wooded property close to CDA. Variety of options for set up: He is a very thoughtful and generous host! We had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful and quiet.
A beautiful and quiet spot up in the wooded hills. A deer considered hoping me for breakfast but his nerve failed. David is a considerate and helpful host.
