Crazy Cow Farm Adventures is located in a small quiet town called Samaria, Idaho. Our family has run this farm since, Samaria was first settled in the late 1800s. It is a working farm, and so you will see us feeding the baby calves, and lambs, irrigating the fields, harvesting and hauling hay as we go about our day. We work hard on the farm but we also know how to play hard. Crazy Cow Farm Adventures has a fun hay chopper wagon ball game, peddle cart track (lots of fun for all ages), and farmyard laser tag. All of these fun activities can be purchased along with your night stay. Contact us for reservations and prices. The Crazy Cow Farm Adventures is the perfect place to unwind and become renewed. The Blue Goose is the old saloon that has been restored and turned into a little store, right here in Samaria just a few blocks from Crazy Cow Farm Adventures. Samaria is located near several reservoirs, where those that love to fish, can go enjoy the water. Yellowstone is just a few hours away, while Downata and Lava Hot Springs are both just a few minutes away. Malad City, Idaho is just a short ten minute drive and you can find the grocery store, pharmacy, hospital, and all the other comforts from home there.

The fun and vibrant black and white wallpaper and pink with blue floral decor just adds to this little trailer's charm. You will have to ask about my Grandma Beverly and her spunky fun loving personality. Beverly has a king size bed, electricity, air conditioning, mini fridge, microwave and heater. Jessie is an adorable 1959 Oasis Camp Trailer, that we total reconstructed and remodeled. The vintage cowboy wallpaper and western decor just adds to this little trailer's charm. You will have to ask about outlaw Jessie James, who once lived in the Malad Valley. Jessie has a queen size bed, electricity, air conditioning, mini fridge, microwave and heater. This is Glamping at it's finest. Outside you will find a picnic table and firepit already with wood for you to burn and all the supplies for smores along with a couple bottles of water in the fridge. Lola is my very first vintage trailer that I purchased. I bought her from the original owner and she is totally able to take out camping any time I want to. All of her propane and water is still very usable and I kept the original ice box as well. Lola is a 1962 Scotsman trailer, done with bright and cheery colors and a farmhouse feel. Lola has a full size bed, electricity, air conditioning, mini fridge, electric tea kettle and electric heater. Lola's dining room table does fold down into a small bed. Lola does have the original sink, with an upgraded pump faucet as well. This is Glamping at it's finest. Outside you will find a picnic table and firepit already with wood for you to burn and all the supplies for smores along with a couple bottles of water in the fridge. Enjoy the sunset, sitting out in front of Lola on the chairs provided, or watch the kids ride the peddle bikes around the track. This the absolute BEST campsite! The hosts are amazing and the kids loved everything from the sandbox, to the pedal cars, to helping with farm chores. We will be back every year from now on!

Beautiful, Cozy, Comfy, Quiet & FUN
1962 Scotsman Trailer- Lola
The campers are adorable! Shayna has a knack for decorating and for making you feel welcome and "at home". The fridge was equipped with bottled water, oatmeal for breakfast, and the makings for s'mores over the fire. We had a blast riding the pedal cars to the "Blue Goose" penny-candy store. We stayed for 2 nights on our way from Salt Lake City to see Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and visit natural hot springs throughout Idaho. At the end of our trip, we needed to rest and pack up the camping gear for the flight home. On short notice, Shayna welcomed us, again, for 2 more nights. We were so happy to be there. When we drove in late at night we both exclaimed "we're home"! Everything was clean and cozy. The shower and toilets are a short distance from the campers. It was quiet, even when the goats got out, and so beautiful. We want our family and friends to experience Crazy Cow, and we would love to go back and spend a week to just rest and enjoy the scenery.

We loved it at crazy cow farm. It was so relaxing and fun. The family was so friendly and the animals were very friendly too. There was plenty of space to roam and play and have fun. We plan on coming back year after year, likely even doing a family reunion there too

Beverly- 1955 Vintage Camp Trailer
My son and I have camped in many places but this is now his favorite! Our hosts were exceptional, so kind and fun to talk to. I just adored Shayna’s camp and the love and effort she has put into it is so apparent. Best campsite for kids AND adults! There is so much to do. I fell in love with the animals and miss them already! We will definitely return. Already telling friends and family about this gem of a place! If you want animal fun, beautiful sunsets, stargazing, pedal carting, giant sandbox play, games, comfy campers with a/c or heating, and fascinating history all from the best hosts, this is your spot!

We loved camping on Shayna’s land! Hosts were super friendly and took us on a mini tour and introduced us to all the animals. The shower was hot and there was even shampoo, conditioner and towels. I wish we had one more night here. Def recommend!

PERFECT and SERENE
1962 Scotsman Trailer- Lola
WOW!! What a phenomenal stay my boys and I had! Shayna reached out to me before our trip to ensure we had the most comfortable trailer for our needs. She personally welcomed us to her charming farm. The place was beyond adorable, with an atmosphere filled with peace and tranquility. We got to interact with so many animals, including chickens, sheep, horses, calves, buffalo, and pigs. The sheep were sheared to perfection and looked like show sheep! Her friendly dogs visited us often, which we loved. And the puppies!!!! My boys were in heaven. Shayna had so many personal touches to her farm, making it fun and inviting for everyone who stays there. We rented her specialty bikes and had a blast riding around the property. I truly felt like Shayna gave us a gift by opening her world to us. We all need a slice of Shayna's life every now and then, just to slow down and enjoy nature. Everything about the place was perfect and serene. Thank you, Shayna, for creating such a beautiful space for others to enjoy!

The Crazy Cow Farm Adventures is an amazing place to stay, one of the few RV camps that is an attraction of its own. For people (like me) coming from an urban environment, the place feels like it comes from a movie. Here, kids can admire (and even pet) dozens of types of animals, ranging from pigs to goats (there was even a baby buffalo)! At 20.30 daily, the animal feeding show starts, and the host, Shayna, will introduce the participants through each of the animals, explaining their name, their story and what they eat. Then participants can offer to feed each animal and pet them. Since the animals have been raised since they were young with a lot of human interaction, they are absolutely docile, and we always felt safe. Finally, the host, Shayna, is extremely welcoming and caring. So it is guaranteed you'll have a great time! Finally, for shopping for fresh fruits, I recommend the nearby Edith's Collective Florist. Very tasty stuff for reasonable prices.

We had a great time. Shayna was very attentive and friendly. There were so many great games and attractions. The space was great for the kids and adults and it was great for our large group. Some of us stayed in campers and some in tents. It was great for all types of camping.

The property has been developed nicely since our last visit! The covered dining/lounging areas are lovely. Shayna's hospitality (and visiting the puppies) are what brought us back and will continue to when we are in the area.

Rooster 1960 Vintage Trailer
The kids loved seeing all the animals at the farm especially the very friendly dogs and puppies, horse, pigs, goats, sheep, cows, bunnies and chickens. My son was excited to complete the star farmer program and get his badge and sticker. The playground and swings were also a hit. The host Shayna was very friendly and we would stay again if we were in the area. Thanks for a fun stay!

We loved everything about our stay at Crazy Cow Farm! Shayna was so kind and accommodating. We went there for our daughter’s 9th Birthday (she has always wanted to live on a farm) and Shayna went above and beyond to make the weekend special for her. We are actually planning to back for our son’s birthday in August. 10/10 recommend!

I loved the layout and privacy (I had tent site 1). Close to gas stations and the interstate but not close enough to hear the cars. The bathrooms were immaculate. Farm animals, toys, and a playground for kids. The stars were amazing. I will definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.

A gem of a campsite in S. Idaho

Crazy Cow Farm is a delightful spot in a quiet agricultural setting in Malad ID, about half way from Tremonton UT to Pocatello ID. It is a welcome stop after suffering through the traffic in the Salt Lake City corridor. Shayna and Luke are very welcoming and even provide the fixings for S'mores. The sites offer a campfire ring and water is nearby. The 'outhouse' is modern with a flush toilet and a sink and the showers are well appointed and attached to the outhouse. There are optional remodeled camp trailers for those not bring their own tent or RV. The ground was level and spacious for our van. Adjacent to the property, the owners have also created a Malad Valley Heritage Square; a collection of original log buildings and wagons from the valley which give a good portrayal of the local agricultural history. It was a very pleasant stay and we now have it on our list of places to stop on our way south to the desert in the Spring.

Fun Stay at a Farm!
1959 Oasis Camp Trailer- Jessie
We loved the vintage camping trailer (Jessie)! It was nicely decorated in a western theme. It had its own private yard with a firepit, picnic table and chairs for relaxing. The bed was super comfortable and the heater kept the trailer a cozy temperature. (It was a cool fall evening.) Shayna and Luke were great hosts. We hope to stop here again someday. A nice place for young and old!

Loved our stay on Shayna’s farm. Helping feed the sheep,horses,pigs,calves Was a treat. There were even baby buffalo there! Access to the cute renovated “outhouses” and even a shower elevated it to luxury camping. Even a s,mores kit provided! This was the first night we’ve camped with our new travel trailer, and it has set the bar very high. Thank you Shayna for your warm hospitality!
