Coyote Flats
I was in town for an event. Coyote Flats is a roomy, quiet, flat spot that was perfect for my dogs and I to hang out in the mornings and evenings. While I didn’t see any coyote, there were plenty of deer and turkeys nearby. Highly recommend this spot.

This camp feels secluded but so close to everything. I wish we could have put it in our plans to stay longer. The weather was perfect and we treated ourselves to a movie outside under the stars!! Steve is a great host and we will be back.

Coyote Flats is a great spot! This was our second time staying here, its clean, private, and Steve is great with communication. Its very close to CDA where I had a work function. Def recommend!

Sweet location just down the road from a new food truck court which is great for diverse dining selections, beer, games, and music. The Kiwanis Park was recommended to us so we could walk our dogs on trails by the river. This park is a peaceful community gem. Husband enjoyed a tour of the Buck Knives factory.
The actual site-Great to have water access as we got hit with a major heat wave. Quite a bit of ingress and egress on the road above but the orientation of the site allowed us some privacy.
Thanks to Steve for the cool setup and the kind welcome.

Lovely, secluded area. Some homes around but still very private and quiet. Large lovely, big needle pine trees. Steve was very helpful, and friendly. He only rents the space to one camper at a time. Not far off I 90, close to Post Falls. Great one night stop for us!

We enjoyed camping at "Coyote Flats". Large, flat, peaceful, private campsite in rural area but only 1.5 miles to nice restaurants and brew pubs.

Great site and host. Easy to get to from the highway. Quiet location with all you need, water, electricity, fire pit and picnic table. Steve is a helpful and welcoming host.

Steve's place was great! Not too far from the interstate, but far enough to feel like you're away from town. It was nice and flat and didn't have to do anything to level out our fifth wheel. We enjoyed an early morning fire with the wood that was supplied and the kiddos loved finding pinecones and running around in the spacious spot. Would recommend and hope to go back sometime!

Great private spot less than 10 minutes from the 90. We had a work event planned on Lake CDA and didnt want to drive all the way back to North Spokane so Coyote Flats was a perfect place to relax and unwind about 10-15 mts from CDA.

Stayed here twice within a month as a pitstop for a trip between WA and MT. The property is well kept, level and in a perfect location. Close to the river and brewery. Just outside of town so it’s nice and quiet. Highly recommended!

Coyote Flats was a great space for the dogs to run around, play fetch, and sniff — my only mistake was traversing down the second path because I thought it looped around. PSA to not go in to the left thinking it goes around!! One stressful turn around later, I was back up top of coyote flats and while it’s possible my 25 foot cord might have reached up top to the pole with more finagling, I ended up just using an extension cord and some adapters and everything was fine. The power box they’ve run power to is all 110, and the pole has a 30 amp plug directly on it. Also be sure to bring a pressure regulator if you plan to use your city water connection! My 50ft hose reached the spigot just fine, though be careful of the barbed wire nearby so as not to puncture it. Overall would definitely return as its proximity to town and seclusion is unmatched!! I recommend going to the left of the split tree and picnic table to loop around for easy parking on the upper level.

Our family just wrapped up 5 days at Cyote Flats and we loved every minute of our stay. The site is large and level with many mature trees, power, water, picknick table and fire pit. Steve has installed solar lights that mark the enterance making it much easier to see if returning after sunset.
We enjoyed all of the wildlife from birds to bugs and even a family of deer.
I loved the simple, laid back rules which were: respect the land and the neighbors.
A short drive to the post falls beach made it easy to cool off from the 40°c weather and have some fun.
We also included two days at the Silverwood theme park which wasn't too much of a drive from here.

Steve’s property was awesome! Super private, with tons of room for the kids and dogs to run around without being near anyone else.
It’s also super close to the Post Falls beach if you want to hit the river.
Steve was great too, he came down the first night with firewood and offered to bring more if we ran out.
Other than that we were completely alone which was perfect!

The area there is beautiful, loads of space for larger trailers, multiple trailers/tents for family gatherings. Room enough to have a volleyball game! Great water and electric hookups. Level, super easy to maneuver around.
Steve was pleasant to talk with and helped with what we needed. We really loved staying there and would recommend to others. We hope to be able to stay there again as we have family in CDA and it worked out very well. Lovely, safe and user friendly 😁

The place was great and clean and easy to get to with lots of room at the site. I had to call the owner and he picked up right away and helped with the power box (make sure to bring a 110v adapter for your trailer/rv). Super awesome experience and we will be back!!

Steve was a wonderful host who was very attentive to any requests we had. His property was in a great location in between CDA and Spokane and close to everything even though you felt like you were in the country. His spot was very private and you can bring any size rig (ours was 45’ toy hauler and fit pretty easily). The electric box is a little far from where we had to park but I’m sure a smaller rig can get closer without needing an extension cable. Thank you Steve for letting us stay and being a gracious host!

We loved our stay here! It was a perfect size for our group so we could set up our whole camp and still have plenty of room for the kids to run around. We were planning on visiting the nearby Post Falls community forest for a hike, but we ended up enjoying our selves so much at the camp, that we decided to stay and made the most of our camp time. I highly recommend this campsite and we will be staying again.

My family lives in a self converted school bus. Although we do have solar, sometimes we need a place to charge. It has been raining last few days so our solar isnt keeping up. Anyway, we book this adorable spot. We come late at night and the power cord isnt working. I message the owner who comes down and tries to help us fix it. The breakers kept tripping on his gfci. Weve charged other places, but never with a gfci. We unplug from his power box, go to the pole itself... same issue. We decide we were only going to stay one night since our only purpose was power. The owner offers us a full refuns for the 2nd day and says he will deliver via cash! The kids and dogs end up loving the place and were playing and running. They were so happy. We decided to try to stay a second night and buy a different adapter from 50amp to 15amp (they have a generator cord) we plugged in and still the gfci breaker popped. The property owner had an electrician come out to verify safety. When that didnt work the owner brought in a giant generator. It was so big he had to drive it in with a tractor.The gfci on generator once again popped. We determined it must be an issue with my bus. We got to researching and determined that GFCI only pop with improper grounding. We chased it down and now have proper grounding and are able to plug in. This owner and his going above and beyond helped us find a major issue that could have led to a fire and killed us all. Forever thankful to Steve you saved my family!
