City of Rocks Camp and Climb offers big spaces located off the main highway across the street from the City of Rocks National Reserve Headquarters. We are centrally located between the City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park. We offer back in partial hook-up (power (20/30/50) and water) spots, pull through dry camp spots and tent spots. We have two self- contained toilets and showers and free Wi-Fi. Public RV dump station is only 1 mile away. Whether you are here to climb, camp, hike, snowshoe, bird, fish, hunt, stargaze, relax, or all the above, we offer the ideal base-camp. We are continuously working on landscaping improvements to make your future stays even better. *We are privately owned and not affiliated with the City of Rocks National Reserve.

Well laid out, we moved to smaller site once we arrived. Great views, easy set up, great showers. Steve, the host, helped us find our way in the dark on late arrival and came over to make sure we got hooked up ok. Highly recommend- right next door to city of rocks.

Hidden gem! Surrounded by mtns and great views of storms rolling in. Without any light pollution, the starry sky is fully on display at night. The showers/facilities were a nice touch.

I had a great night at City of Rocks Camp & Climb. I was there on a Tuesday in July so the place was pretty empty. Steve came out to check in with me on arrival and made recommendations to visit the park before I headed out again the next day. The facilities were excellent; I could really tell that they are reinvesting in the property as they grow.

Cool little campground near the city of rocks. Amenities were actually better than advertised as it seems like they just added showers, spot was pretty level. The host accommodated a last minute site switch for me as well so that I could be closer to WiFi while my wife was in Europe, and the concession stand was an added bonus for an easy breakfast. Will definitely be coming back when my wife is able to join!

Campground was disappointing. We were supposed to be greeted by the camp host which never happened. We left a day early due to the weather which was no fault of the campground. We won’t go back.

This place was a great location for City of Rocks climbing. Had water and bathrooms and even Wi-Fi! Right across the street from Rock City Pizza also. Would recommend! Ruth the camp host was super sweet and helpful!

We absolutely loved this site! Great view of the city of rocks! The camp hosts were lovely and take excellent care of the grounds. There were quite a few people in all the different types of sites but it didn't feel busy as sites are nicely spaced. We will for sure be putting this one on our yearly visit list!
