The Overlook
Very clean and quiet - there were other campers closer than I expected, but everyone was respectful. Easy to find and the host is very responsive to communication. Fun little spot for fishing, floating, swimming, sunbathing - even room to play some cornhole. Good sized fire rings and wood available for purchase if you need it. Picnic table provided with an umbrella. Glad we checked it out - it was great!

This is our second time visiting Beth’s land. First time was a few years ago in October. Wish we could have stayed longer both times, but we were just passing through. This is a great place to stay the weekend or just while passing through. Thanks so much for sharing tour beautiful property.

Absolutely stunning oasis, very private, very quiet and very clean. Lilly the dog is second to none and showed us the ropes. If you want a fun, private getaway this is the spot for you.

If you've read other reviews, Lilly the dog is famous. When asked if I wanted her crated during our visit, I said 'no'...even though my partner is not a dog guy. However, he just shared a post of him and Lilly, describing her as his camp buddy and the friendliest dog he's ever met. The facility is also great. We had it all to ourselves, which was definitely a nice vibe for two adults. We are tent campers, so we heard a concert of night critters (birds, toads, etc.) around the pond. The port-a-potty was clean. The host communicated all the essentials. What more do you need? On the way out, I grabbed some trash from the fire ring left by another camper--boo to that person. I'd definitely stay here again.

A short ride from the main road you are in farm country, beautiful. When you get to the Cove you drive down the driveway and you see it. A charming use of the property, and the space that can be whatever you mind can make up. Quiet and serene. For me, it was just my wife and I, and our dog, Ernie. Intimate, campsites are all, around the pond, each with their own perspective. Definitely in the area, it is worth a stay, Beth was prompt with every stage. A charmer all the way around.

Very well kept. The spot is close to town yet I never felt it. Sounds, smells & the feel of camping. Hosts take good care of guests too.

We were only here a short period of time. The area was beautiful and peaceful. Their dog was super friendly and we loved having her around the campsite. The house were very responsive and it was a nice time.

We loved camping by the babbling stream. We had a blast taking the row boat on the pond out to the island. Turkeys, pheasants, ducks, heron, owl, etc. came around. Lilly was the best host dog! We hope to come back next year. We enjoyed being close to nature and still only a half hour to visit family in Meridian.

We had a terrific stay on Beth's land. The setting was lovely and tranquil. We were serenaded to sleep by the creek and awakened to beautiful birdsong. We'll return!

Cagle Cove is an absolutely awesome place to camp. It's a quiet and peaceful place that I highly recommend. There are many different birds singing and flying around and the Hosts and their friendly dog (love her) are the best. I will definitely be going back. The pond is so cool 😎 and it's private

We enjoyed our time at Cagle Cove. Our kids loved running around the pond and exploring. We were early in the season so maybe the pond needs to be cleaned and stocked up but we still had a great time. The hosts were awesome and even brought us a lighter because we forgot one!

We used this as a Basecamp to attend our daughter's lacrosse games. The setting was beautiful and you can tell the owners put lots of effort into maintaining it. We had an equipment issue that was going to be an expensive fix but Beth immediately helped us with a solution! Of course, Mayor Lilly is the highlight of the camp. If my daughter plays on this area again, we will stay here!

The Overlook
It was an excellent camping experience close to the city. As soon as I arrived, Jason (probably) greeted me warmly, and his dog wagged its tail excitedly, showing friendliness right away. He also brought the firewood I had requested in advance. The sound of the nearby stream and the chirping of insects brought a sense of peace. I was able to properly evaluate my new camping gear. It’s a place I’d recommend to anyone. To access the campsite, you have to go down a slope, and when leaving, you have to climb a fairly steep incline, but my Ford XP handled it without any issues.

VERY fun spot! Stayed just one night, on our way from the Eastern Sierra to Eastern Washington for a wedding. Got in after dark and were nonetheless greeted by the famous Lilly. In the morning my niece paddled a kayak out to the island to sip her morning coffee before we broke camp (once again attended to by Lilly) and headed out. Wish we'd been able to stay longer.

Beth’s place was perfect after a long day on the road. There are a number of campsites around a pond and a little creek off to the side. We stayed at the Willows campsite and the sound of running water was delightful. It was October 1st, so too cold to swim. There’s a clean port o potty to use the bathroom. And it’s located well off the freeway and is really quiet.

This is a fun little pond with a center deck and what looks to be four places to camp around the pond.
Lily was really sweet and got along with my dog Roxy it was a nice day as short as it was I would definitely recommend it.
One notable thing is the steep entrance and departure to the pond it might be challenging for some I'm not sure. My sprinter-based RV did fine.
