In the early 1900's three sheep ranchers--August Broderson, James Fisher, and Isaac Leighton--each purchased residential lots in Weiser and built brick homes designed by Idaho architect H. W. Bond. This property, which we named Butterfield Farms, was built in 1915 by August Broderson, who emigrated from Germany to the US in 1892. The Broderson family lived here for decades and were a prominent family in Weiser history. Learn more about this land: The campsite is located on our small family-run farm in Weiser, ID. Our 2 1/2 acre historic farm is located in the heart of town, so you have the best of both worlds: easy access to town amenities, and a restful retreat in nature at the end of the day. Grocery store, seasonal farmer's market, coffee shop, eateries, library, and downtown shops are all within easy walking or biking distance. Weiser is known world-wide for its annual fiddle festival in June! Our campsite is within walking or biking distance of all of the Fiddle Week activities. Campsite is located underneath a large shady oak tree. Campers are welcome to use the fire pit when fire bans are not in effect. Electric hookups are located immediately next to the campsite, as well as a non-potable water source. Note that we are located in town and campers are required to observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and be courteous of neighbors.The campsite is located on our small family-run farm in Weiser, ID. Wonderful Place To Stay

Butterfield Farm campsite

I was met by Erin upon arrival. She was friendly and a great host (same for communication prior to arrival). The location is set back in a lot behind the home. Its safe and secure with power and water. Nearby is a great firepit area (we didn't use as it was 95 degrees) and a gentle sheep named Tilly. Fun, quirky and comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay!

Erin has a beautiful campsite. It is very quiet, lots of shade from a huge tree, flowers, a campfire site, electric hookups, and a rural farm atmosphere in town. I highly recommend this site.

Good place to rest for the night! Reliable power outlet and close to groceries and the main part of town. Some neighbor dogs were outside during the day, which may or may not affect your own pet. Overall would recommend.

Butterfield Farm campsite

My Wife, Daughter and I stayed three nights at The Butterfield Farm. Erin was great. We needed a spot on short notice and she was able to accommodate us. It’s a small farm with chickens and a momma sheep. The momma had twin lambs that we got to see before heading out. It was quiet and we felt very safe. We didn’t have any trouble getting in and out in our 36’ motor home. We look forward to staying with Erin again.

Erin’s place is lovely! The site is tucked away on their property, quiet and peaceful, with access to power. We are staying there again on our way back home. Highly recommend’

Butterfield Farm campsite

We had so much fun staying with Erin and Chris! They were so wonderful and welcoming. They tried to give us our space, but I wanted to meet the chickens and they obliged! They have such a sweet little farm here! They have lots of fruit trees and were happy to share any ripe fruit right off the trees. We also got to feed some apricots to the hens 😁😁😁. We were really tired and it was really hot so after our tour Erin and Chris gave us total space. I wanted to hang out with them for the 4th of July fireworks, but I was too exhausted and crashed before they started. We left early the next day, so we didn't get to see them again. They were so nice, I would've hung out with them more. The cute spot for a fire was awesome, even though we couldn't (and didn't want to!) have a fire. It was still a fun space. Erin was extremely responsive via the app and they were willing to follow any covid precautions we requested (we had none).
