The location is rather intriguing. The campground is a mining ghost town. All the sites are a long the only road in and out of the narrow canyon. It's super quiet. Lisa is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Lisa’s property was well maintained and had a number of nice amenities like Cornhole, Horseshoes, firepit with plenty of wood available and water/electricity.
We stayed at the lower unit which had a nice grassy area that would be great for families.
Lisa and her husband were very friendly and accommodating.
The only negatives were during the week there is a major reclamation project from the old mine just up the road so there were many trucks starting at 7AM - 5PM that drove by all day.
I also thought that the creek was going to be viewable, but it is across the road and set lower so you can only hear it from the campsite.

50/50 honestly wasn't my favorite. When we arrived we had difficulty reaching the host to find our site. She ended up putting us (with our tent) on the gravel. It wasn't until much later after we left that a message came through on the app to set up anywhere in the grass. The grassy area looked much better. This was however a very last minute campsite for us so more then anything we appreciated the chance to sleep for the night before hitting the road again

The host was super helpful and friendly, and it was nice to have air conditioning and water. The roads going up to the campsite are very rough and it is not exactly a scenic route that you take to get there. Seeing vandalized vehicles/rv’s, stripped down trucks and houses that were basically rubble had us a little concerned for our safety and that of our equipment when we went to the music festival. It was very nice to have a short drive to Wallace to sightsee. It is not private, but it is has some charming attribute.

Fantastic tent pads with horseshoes, cornhole, (kid friendly) axe throwing and a cozy fire ring. Nice bivy site before Shoshone County objectives.

We had a great time at Lisa’s spot. For us it was a quick overnight trip, but she was very responsive to small questions we had. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The kids loved the little touches she had around the property as well: (cornhole, little station for bug catchers, painting rocks, etc.) we plan to come back on another trip and stay for a few days so we can explore the historic town of nearby Wallace too. Overall, it was a good experience, close to a lot of interesting historical areas. Host Lisa was quite welcoming and accommodating. Not much privacy, but it was a crowded 4th of July weekend. So there we were.

Was a wonderful stay. Was explained to and had everything we needed. Beautifully maintained property and friendly host! My wife and I really liked biking around and getting to see the mining history of the area. Great ops for cool photos. Thank you so much!

The location was lovely. Mine area is a worksite so pictures weren’t the best. Still a lovely walk. River sounds at night were amazing. Bugs were no issue. Star link was happy about 98% of the time. Amazing in such a steep valley. Only complaint I had was a newbie error on my part. I set Hipcamp filter for full hookups, water, sewer, and 50amp. 50amp was near site so an extension worked no problem. Water is on location, and not dedicated to a specific site which was an inconvenience but manageable. We nearly left midweek due to no septic. Hipcamp filter shows that it has all these in site, but their description, that I missed, states water on property and no septic. Again they were great, just make sure you don’t blindly trust the Hipcamp filter.

Awesome place. We had 4 rigs. Lisa set us up so we had our own private area.
Only thing to be aware is there is construction in the area (as of 6/30/25). NOT a knock on the campground, just something to take into consideration.

Porta potty was properly serviced and Lisa has done a lot to ensure the area has extra charm. So much effort has been put in to make this place special 😍

This was a great little stop on my way home from Montana! Power is really all I need, so it was great, and there was a water hookup, so it was even better! There was also wifi, but it was a little weak/spotty. But I often don't have *any* service when I camp, so I was still happy with it. The grassy area with picnic tables was a nice spot to enjoy my dinner and read some of my book. The creek access a ways down the road is cute. The host was also great to chat with!

Lisa and Phil are amazing host. Very knowledgeable and great to chat with like we had been friends for years. We had a great time riding the trails with our e-bikes as it was real “off roading” which is exactly what we were looking for, taking off right from our campsite. The site has all you need, clean and tidy. We had ventured into Wallace as Lisa had some great tidbits of go does in town so we did go walk around taking in the local history and did go on a mine tour which was awesome. If you want a low key, kick back, inviting stay, Lisa and Phil’s little gem is it.

We loved our RV site at Lisa’s! It was quiet, had electricity and water, and was a perfect location for our visit to Wallace and our bike ride on the Hiawatha Trail. Lisa gave us wonderful advice for great days, and in the evening my hubby and I enjoyed corn hole, a fire, and toasting marshmellows! The venue is exceptionally clean
and organized.

Amazing location- if you are REALLY good at pulling a camper! We had the single spot up above the road, which had a beautiful view of the old mill and the creek. It has a little lawn area and a fire pit. The owners were super nice and came out to greet us as soon as we arrived. The skill it took for my husband to get our 26’ trailer into the spot was incredible. He pretty much had to jackknife the trailer and do a ten point turn to get it parked. Once it was in, we realized that there was, in fact, NO sewer hookup. There was water and electricity, but luckily our family of four only stayed for two nights so we made it without dumping. Upon leaving the site, we discovered that it was even harder to get the trailer out of the site. If you have a smaller trailer or small RV you’ll be fine! On the plus side- you can hear the water from the creek and you’re surrounded by trees and flowers. It’s about a ten minute drive to adorable downtown Wallace. The fam and I had fun on a tour of the Silver Mine.

Campground was extremely well kept. We loved how easy it was to get too. The grounds were quiet and we enjoyed being able to go hiking/walking with our dogs. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place. We had a nice out of the way spot up on a hill that took some work to get the trailer to but was worth it. Beautiful spot. The only issue we had was no ability to dump tanks, but we had water and electric though. Was a nice easy drive to Wallace from Burk.
