Loved camping here. Easy to get to and park (in 21ft Promaster Van). Setup was great with picnic tables and chairs around the fire pit. Was great place to bird watch and relax. Would highly recommend the site!

This is place is so quaint. It’s clean and quiet and just a very lovely experience. The kayaks are in great condition and you have your options of sit on top or sit in. Directions to get there and how to use everything are very easy and direct. The lake is beautiful and wasn’t too busy while we were there. The host is very communicative . I would highly suggest this beautiful camp spot, we will definitely be back.

What a sweet setup! The site is very tidy and clean! Lights, toilet, tiki bar….we barely had to unpack anything from our van! We even saw a beaver during our stay! ❤️🦫
Loved the location and convenience off the main highway on our way from Whitefish to Seattle! Would gladly stay again and will definitely refer to other people!

We pulled into the site and were blown away. Very cute setup. Loved the tiki bar! Lots of space. Enjoyed coffee on the lower deck in the mornings as we watched wildlife. Kayaked the lake in the afternoon. Can't recommend enough!

We got out of our vehicle and were immediately impressed with Beaver Bay! The site is HUGE with the main area being the biggest and then , if you're looking at the lake, there's a lower level to the left. A small tent could likely be set up there and it would be amazing. To the right is a large deck area a little lower than the main area and then further down is the dock. So four levels! Nice clean outhouse and tiki bar with lights were great. And the main highlight was the kayaks! We loved exploring the lake on the kayaks and there's no motorized boats on the lake so it was so nice and peaceful. Down the road is a boat launch type of area and a dock. It worked great for us, we kayaked over to it and spent a couple hours playing there and it was great (kids 10, 9 and 6), not really a beach, but still a great area. And it was fine, but we were a little surprised to find that the campsite is in a residential area. Permanent residences or seasonal... maybe a bit of both, we're not sure. But it felt just a little weird camping amongst residences. Not enough to make me not recommend it and the traffic slowed down completely around 8:30/9:00ish so it was totally quiet other than the occasional train, but just something to know before you go. Nice and close to stores if you need anything.

We loved this place. It was perfect for our 20ft trailer. Absolutely beautiful. Partially shaded decks to hang out on. A tiki bar. We loved the lights. And to have power for our AC in July was a plus. We enjoyed using the kayaks provided on this beautiful little lake. And Stephen's quick responses to questions were very much appreciated.

Really enjoyed the space and the views at Beaver Bay. The dock and lake are great for hanging out and exploring. Nice and central between Sandpoint and Coeur D’Alene and minutes away from Silverwood. A little noisy at night between the train, road, and wildlife.

This was a beautiful spot and we would absolutely love to come back. On the day we stayed it rained, and it was still magical. It had everything we would need to disconnect. Thank you so much for letting us stay.

Had a great stay in Beaver Bay, even though it rained quite a lot. Had a small miscommunication before arrival but Stephen was quick to reply and provide a solution. It was uncharacteristically chilly during our visit so there were no bugs at all, but I could see that changing in warmer temps.

Absolutely a small slice of heaven. Very clean and the bathroom was better than I expected. Actually quiet (except running trains- ear plugs worked). We saw so many deer and beautiful birds. I would recommend your own chairs for around the fire :) We

Perfect site for a getaway. The layout and extras make this the perfect camping destination. Slight bugs in the evenings but with spray or candle not an issue. Lake was perfect size and on site kayaks were the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful quiet setup. 2nd time staying there, it was better than the last. The views are amazing, the wildlife is better. Beaver bay lives up to its name as we watched the family of beavers play on the rock across from the site. Ringnecked duck couples were our company every day, the chimes of the osprey as they dove for fish, bald eagles and great blue herons. Highly recommend this spot a short drive from our home in Spokane. Did I say beautiful!!

Fully enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a camper van with one tent, much better than all the nearby offerings and had a good vibe. The lake was nice, the bar area was a nice touch, and I loved the lights that were provided for a nice ambience at night. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Stephen!

Beautiful site! We pitched a tent, and although it was a gravel site, we had no issues as we used an axe for the pegs. The site was clean and right on the water- super peaceful little getaway and we will definitely be back if we’re in the area again :) the lights were a great touch!

It’s a perfect fit for my family. It’s accessible, but sneaky solitary. The lake is quiet and perfect for paddling. Our trailer fits easy and we love having power, an outhouse, and fun party areas. The decks are awesome, and yes I’ve seen multiple beavers. Super 1 foods is close by for groceries and Sandpoint is a short drive for small resort town fun.

Beautiful site! Awesome to have private access to the lake. Loved that kayaks with life jackets were available to rent.
Clean and no cobwebs which was a plus!
I’d come here again and I’d recommend it to others as well.
Something to note is that there is a train close by that runs at night and early morning, bring ear plugs!
Also please be careful with children and pets walking down the road there, drivers don’t seem to slow down.

This was such a lovely spot! It is very close to anything we needed but yet felt like our own little oasis. The seating areas and lighting were well thought out and made for a beautiful place to spend the night. The lake spot is wonderful and we spent most of our time relaxing and watching the wildlife. Would 100% recommend this spot.

We loved this site. The parking/RV site was very large and so we didn't feel cramped at all. The two deck spaces were awesome, as well as the Tiki bar and private dock. Our doggos wouldn't stop swimming! The views were great and it was a peaceful spot. On the morning we were leaving, we were able to watch the local beaver at work, so it lived up to its name! It's right next to the road, which makes for convenient access and easy to locate but the road had some decent traffic so if you have pets that's one thing to be aware of. All in all, we will definitely go back for a quick and peaceful getaway.

I grew up going to Kelso lake every weekend, it’s a beautiful peaceful lake. We loved our time there last week, very nice and well kept camping space.
Beautiful at night with all the lights.
Great paddle board lake, you can lay out at night on your boards and watch the stars and not worry about any boats on the lake. Not a party lake!

Beaver Bay
We stayed two nights on our way back to Minnesota from Alaska. Beaver Bay is a very restful place.
Our first night we just sat and watched the lake. We saw a Bald Eagle, an Osprey and three does and a buck.
The second night the beaver made its presence known along with some geese and other water fowl.
We even decided to return early to the site and eat there rather than in CDA.
Everything in the listing was there, was clean and worked.
