We had amazing relaxing time here. The mixture of tent with luxury of bed and facilities, the open space, view of ocean, vast open sky and nature, mix of farm animals, friendly hosts of Becky, jordon, Wendy and don had been the icing of the cake. We loved it. Highly recommended

One of the best camps we stayed at! Made even better by the animals and fabulous hosts. Getting headbutted by the residential goats is all part of it 😂 great facilities and lovely spot - thanks for having us!

What an amazing place! The tents were beautiful and tucked into such a stunning piece of land. The farm is lovely and we had a great time helping out feeding the animals with the friendly hosts as well. Fresh home grown papaya too! Would love to come back sometime!

Exactly what we wanted…
The Haven at Hawi Nani Ranch was the coolest place we’ve stayed at on the island. As soon as you drive into the property you’re greeted with its beauty, immense space, Millie and Tilly the friendly goats, the massive bunnies, and two sweet farm cats.
The tents are awesome. Great attention to detail with the linens, throw rugs, electric power bank, towels, string lights. Better than any resort. But…we’re also not resort folks.
There is a cool communal kitchen with everything you need to cook and store food. Communal bathroom and shower were also awesome, and again with thoughtful detail touches.
Going to town for supplies is 5 min drive. We found eating at the ranch was much more cost effective and enjoyable.
After an hour here, we both started pondering our ability to retire, live here and work on the ranch with our wonderful host, Becky. Next time…we’ll be here longer.

A living dream....
Our trip in Hawaii was 7 nights and 7 days. We had one night at the ranch and it was 6 nights too few. I don't want to leave a good review or tell all my friends because I don't ever want it to become too popular to book. This was my first time on the big island and this ranch is the main reason that I want to come back. This space has everything you need and more. It was made with the idea of "what would I want to have" and it was captured perfectly. Wendy and Becky are spectacular hosts and this space is an absolute luxury and dream. The kitchen is top notch and so wonderfully stocked. The tents are absolutely stunning inside and the beds are so so cozy. Tillie and Millie put on a good show and love head scratches and grass. Pick from the garden, see wild pigs, watch Maui appear out of no where in the mornings. Thank you so much for creating a living dream.

Gorgeous setting. Very comfortable accommodations and the most lovely hosts you can imagine. The only downside was having to leave when our stay was over. Truly loved our stay and experience at the ranch.

This is a lovely site for a night -- the little compound Wendy has set up with common kitchen and bathroom spaces is nicely done. The view from the camp is great, and the space overall is really lovely and tranquil. My own issue is that it's pretty expensive for the fact that you're sleeping in a tent and using a shared bathroom. This would be a good place for someone who is looking for a 'glamping' experience--that is, something that resembles camping but doesn't actually require any discomfort and is willing to pay a premium for that convenience.

We will be back!
What an amazing experience. The property is amazing and you were welcomed like you were part of the family. The Yurts are well thought out and extremely comfortable. We stayed with our two and five year olds and weren't sure how they would do, but slept well in their cots after a long evening feeding the goats and making smores. We enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning drinking our coffee on the large pasture area and then made breakfast in the outdoor kitchen with veggies from the garden and fresh eggs. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back and who we can bring with us to enjoy the experience. We stayed home night, but next time are hoping to do at least two!

Yikes. I thought I already left a review! I was so juiced after our stay I wrote a review first chance I got but it didn't save. This place is awesome. The experience is not found on a resort. The property is beautiful. The hosts are wonderful. Next time I come to Big Island I will definitely be staying here. I brought my 9 year old and she was sad to go. Bunnies, goats, beautiful horses, pretty garden. Camping but done right. Full kitchen that has about anything one could want. Even if you forget something it will likely be in the kitchen. Be kind to the area its not exploited by tourist and really lets you feel the Aloha of the island

The best four days spent glamping on the ranch where you wake up to animals and your work day begins. (They don’t make you work!! but if you want to feed horses, chickens, goats or work in the garden there are tons of fun projects). I didn’t think I’d say this but it was such fun and such a great experience !! Hawi Nani Ranch is situated in a quaint little town on the northern tip of the big island with spectacular views of the Maui and the bluest ocean. Love that it is a working ranch and fruits and vegetables are plentiful. Plan a trip if you can. A big thank you to Wendy, Becky and Don for being the best hosts ever!!! We had so much fun!!

An absolutely incredible experience! Becky was such an amazing host. We felt so welcome. We got to pick fresh vegetables from the garden and farm fresh eggs and were able to make a delicious gourmet breakfast with beautiful views of Maui in the fully stocked kitchen. The glamping tent was so beautifully decorated and chic, the bed was super comfortable and the twinkle lights in the ceiling gave it such a romantic ambiance. We also met some new friends Tillie and Millie the goats, the chickens and three rabbits. My special needs son was thrilled to get to help Becky groom and feed the sweet horses and she even let him ride the horse. This has been by far one of the best camping experiences ever!

Perfect Place!
I’m 12 years old….This place was amazing! It was so much fun to play with all the animals, and the yurts were so nice to stay in. The hosts have so much hospitality, and quite often helped us cook before joining us for dinner. The animals were very friendly. I was able to go horseback riding, which was a pleasant surprise. After one night, it already felt like home!

This is by far the best glamping we ever did! Truly a magical place! The location is amazing, on a beautiful ranch with funny goats, elegant horses and chicken that deliver your breakfast right inside the kitchen! The tent is really comfortable, and super cute. The host is so welcoming, with lots of little attention to make our stay memorable! A little paradise on Earth! Mahalo for everything!

We absolutely LOVED staying at Hawi Nani! My two daughters and I found the property easily and were impressed by all the amenities available. There's a full kitchen with refrigerator, bbq, coffee, microwave, sink and plates/bowls/silverware. We enjoyed eating outside on the picnic tables and enjoying the starry night on the outdoor couch.
The tent is amazing and had the most comfortable bed and linens, all clean and fresh. There are screens on the doors and windows also to allow the breeze to flow through the tent. We appreciated the twinkle lights installed.
Bathrooms are located nearby and a clear lit pathway was easily visible at night. Towels and soaps were provided as well. There were also a few random things available in the bathroom as well just in case we needed (sunscreen, bug spray, aloe vera for sunburn, lotion, etc.)
The most enjoyed the property itself. I felt comfortable with my kids being able to explore. THere's a goat pen with two friendly goats, Millie and Tillie. They were the highlight of the stay for my two kids. Tetherball and corn hole were also available to keep them occupied.
We also recommend cruising and exploring Hawi and Pololu valley and stop by Off the Grid and try their ginger Limeade!
Mahalo to Becky for letting us stay and experience all that Hawi Nani Ranch has to offer! We will definitely be planning another stay soon!
