A private, off-grid tiny home nestled in a protected mango grove and surrounded by the sounds of nature. At night, you can occasionally hear the distant crashing of the ocean. During the day, you’ll hear the calls of our rare Hawaiian hawks and other native birds—it is truly peaceful. The drive to our cabin is incredible! You’ll travel through some of the newest land on Earth and into a beautiful jungle. If you continue the drive past us, you’ll emerge by the ocean at a place called Honolulu Landing. Just beyond that (and over a few speed bumps) is a lovely grassy area called Waiakahi'ula Beach Park, which offers information on the cultural significance of this region. Location & Travel Tips • Hilo: We are about 45 minutes from Hilo, where you’ll find most of our beaches and shopping. • Volcanoes National Park: Only one hour away. • Kailua-Kona: The Big Island is much larger than many expect, so please plan accordingly! If you intend to do excursions on the Kona side, keep the travel time in mind. Come relax, unplug, and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii! The cabin is equipped with a screened in kitchen and a breakfast bar with 2 stools. It also has a mini fridge and a two burner stove. The bathroom has a flushing toilet and hot shower with necessary amenities. In the cabin is a queen size bed with reading material and beach stuff. There is snorkeling gear, towels, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. Also a big rain umbrella, since we are on a tropical island!
