Moon Garden Farm is a 25 acre farm, located off Highway 11 near the town of Mountain View. Beautiful views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa are visible on clear sunny days. The 1500 foot elevation gives a great view of the ocean as well. Mountain View is located between beautiful, quaint Hilo and the spectacular Volcano National Park, each about 15 miles in either direction. Sheep, cattle and feral pigs can be seen in the lower pasture. There are 4 ponds and two are stocked with tilapia and catfish. Fish nets are provided for the children. The grounds are beautifully manicured with creative topiary's and lends itself to great photo shoots. Jaboticaba, bananas, lemons, calamansi, and several other fruit trees can be found on the farm. Yours to eat when in season. Moon Garden Farm is a magical place and I'm sure you will feel it too. For larger organizational groups please contact me and let's make it work for you.

Calme avec belles prestations
Le terrain est vraiment immense et la propriété de Maé est impeccable et calme. On est resté 2 nuits avec un soulagement, après avoir passé des nuits dans des campings publics sans trop de conforts et beaucoup de vis à vis. Chez Maé, tout y est, douche, toilettes, serviettes, lavabo, tente avec moustiquaire et qui nous a aussi protégé de la pluie. Merci Maé pour ton excellent accueil et ta gentillesse !

Lovely campsite and great host!
We loved staying at Mae's campsite for two nights. So much space to park our campervan and put up our tent. The toilets and outdoor shower were lovely, and having the gazebos to dine in was really helpful. Mae is so accommodating and she made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time at Moon Farm Garden. Site was charming and flawless; Mae, our host, extremely nice and helpful. We recommend it 100%. Very good option if you want to visit the volcanoes park

Mae’s Hipcamp was beautiful and so peaceful! She is also the sweetest soul ever. The views were breath taking and she welcomed us when we arrived pretty late. Clean bathrooms and outdoor shower. This stay at the moon garden farm is exactly what my soul needed. The view of the stars were unmatched. Can’t wait to come back here!

Beautiful, peaceful camping site!
This is a lovely site for camping! Very peaceful and quiet with nice views! The site had chairs to look out to the view, a table to eat at and a covered area for spreading out anything else we needed. The shower and bathroom area were very clean. The whole property is very picturesque. Great location between Hilo and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Mae was a very kind and gracious hostess!
