Host was super friendly and helpful! The kitchen area includes utensils and everything. Overall it was a great spot to hang out for the night.

Everything about this was amazing. The paths throughout the grounds were beautiful. The amenities were great. Would absolutely stay again!

10/10 visit. We booked last minute, but Keoni was very responsive. Directions to get there are very straightforward. Keoni was also around to guide us in. The property is fantastic. Beautiful and very quiet area. and to our surprise a hot shower.

We had a great stay at Mango Hale. Keoni’s garden is a piece of paradise filled with fruit trees and song birds. Keoni’s gave us a tour of his land and even gave us some star fruits and a coconut to taste! Would definitively recommend!

Keonis property is really nice and keoni and his family are really nice and welcoming. We loved our stay there and would definitely stay again! All the amenities you need (hot shower, Wi-Fi) and pretty close to Pahoa and about 30 minutes drive to Hilo depending on traffic.

We had a lot of difficulty finding the campsite. It was not marked at all and very hard to find, especially at night. The road was also very muddy, so our campervan got stuck.... Bathroom was dirty and full of bugs and lizards. Only stayed one night. Not a great experience for us.

Our family enjoyed staying in this space! It was simple yet cozy, with all the amenities we needed. Private bathroom with a bathtub and hot shower. The room was mosquito proof and we had access to private kitchen! Keoni had very fast communication and was extremely welcoming. We really enjoyed walking around the property and seeing all the mature fruit trees that were growing. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a simple stay in the jungle (:

Perfect quick get away camping trip! Such a beautiful property. The rain just put me to sleep. Follow the directions, not the Apple Maps location. I was a little confused when I first got there about where I actually go once I’m there but that wasn’t a big deal, such a pretty place and a great value.

This was a gorgeous spot in a rain forest environment. It was far enough away from stuff to feel like we were in a secluded area, but close enough to be a short drive from Hilo, Hawaii Volcanoes NP, etc. great place to stay. It was fun falling asleep and waking up to the sound of birds and frogs.

A lovely, easy to access spot to park our campervan for the night. Keoni was very responsive to questions we had and was easy to get in touch with. It was fun to wake up to the ducks greeting us outside the van. Nice bathroom and shower available.

Very nice spot, and very nice host :) We’ve arrived late but it was not a problem, Nice space for campervan Great hot shower, Trampoline perfect for kids We would loved arrived earlier to enjoy a bonfire here with keoni, maybe another time ! Thanks again

Keoni is super chill and friendly. He went out of his way to make a fire for when we arrived and even had fresh fruits picked for us. Really cool land, nice and clean outdoor bathrooms, great host- couldn’t ask for more!

Keoni’s place at Mango Hale is incredible! It’s such a beautiful peaceful property so lush and easy to access. Perfect location to Hilo, warm pools, volcano, and beaches! The open air bathroom is so cute and clean and really gives you the jungle experience! Can’t wait to stay on this gem of a property again! The symphony of frogs and crickets along with the Milky Way and shooting stars was sublime, so relaxing and rejuvenating!
