Lush jungle in the middle of the 2018 lava flow. Experience the magic of driving through a solidified lava river, admiring large steaming cinder cones and being submerged by the green of the tropical forest. This is a place to be in and apart of nature, far from the conventional world, at an off grid family farm. We provide a bath house with flush toilets and a hot water shower. This is a rustic style farm in recovery from the 2018 lava flow. We are considered a miracle plot that was untouched by lava that surrounded us. Because of the 2018 Lava Eruption we do not have a GPS location address to our farm. Once you get to the GPS address provided, you're going to continue onto where the pavement meets black lava. Drive up towards the gate where we will be in our car to meet you and escort you out to our property through private land access. It's a real unique adventure!We invite you to experience our organic family farm of 20 acres of tropical fruit, lush jungle and fresh lava, where new life is growing strong after the 2018 eruption. Unplug and enjoy our 10x10 Banana cabin with farm fresh breakfast and a covered porch with a hammock to relax, rain or shine! There is no power in the cabin but there is simple solar lighting. The bath house is a 2 minute walk from the cabin which has 2 communal flushing toilets and hot shower for your use. Water is from a rain catchment tank and we do not advise drinking it. We can offer you clean drinking water that we filter from our home upon request. :) Guests will enjoy hiking around our lush rainforest property and food forest on private trails or exploring the most recent lava flows safely on our private road. We do offer various tours and massage therapy upon request.
