Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Heavily wooded with plenty of birds to enjoy. We have two rental options available. #1 Bedroom: A furnished room with a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower. #2 Bedroom: A two-bedroom unit with one full bed in one room and one full bed plus one twin bed in the other. The two bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Up to five people can stay comfortably, and additional guests may be accommodated upon request. The rooms are clean and private. A shared stove and refrigerator are available for guest use. Stove privileges are limited. A simple breakfast of coffee, eggs, and toast is available. Located between Kailua-Kona and Volcano. The property sits at an elevation of about 3,600 feet, so nights can be a little chilly. Be sure to bring a sweater. Days are usually warm and sunny. All buildings are smoke-free, so please smoke outside. We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum at night. Children are welcome but must be well behaved and follow the house rules.Wooded area 2 bedroom shared bathroom upstairs. One bedroom single bathroom downstairs. Eco friendly place. We use solar panels here. There are no tvs here. You can bring an iPad if you need one. Best to charge electronics in the daytime. Barbecue available. Stove use is fine. For safety stove and barbecue hours are limited. No loud music please. It is a quiet neighborhood and we want to keep the neighborhood happy. We do use a clothesline here. There is a Laundrymat down the hill. The driveway is lava but easy to drive on. The gate on the driveway is locked every night. There is coffee available here in the morning. Smoking in designated areas only. The rooms are all no smoking.
