Haiku Hangout Campground
Website appears to be a scam and should not to be trusted. Refused to refund after I requested it within the time frame. HICAMP allowed the host to the money for my entire reservation because I requested a refund instead of requesting a cancelation. Why would I request a refund if I didn't want to cancel my reservation? I tried dealing with customer support but ended up having to file a dispute with my credit card company.

The spot was easy to find. Super cool and beautiful hide out. We loved it camping there a lot. We plan on camping there again! Thanks again!

Don’t go there
We reserved for four nights but once arrived on the site, we were so desapointed by the place that we change place! You must have 4x4 just to enter on the site. The grass was so long, that we didnt even know where we could camp. There was some trash on the ground, and some floorboard at few places. The only table look dangerous. It is way to expensive for what it is. I Will be suprised to learn that someone sleep there during the last year. My advice: dont go there.

Small field ok for a quick stop off
Good location to start our road trip to Hana however the ground was uneven and very muddy. Really small site. There was only two other groups there and we still struggled to get a good spot. Sectioned pitches would help. The cold shower was refreshing.

Good camp
Pretty chill spot to set up camp or for your car/RV. I arrived late at night so it was a little tricky to find as you loose cell service once you’re off the main road but with Williams instructions it was easy to find even without maps. I recommend if you just need a spot to sleep overnight. There is a Porta potty and a make shift shower but I didn’t check them out. Overall quiet secluded camp off the main road. Deff would stay again.

Very clean Porta potty! We camp alot so I know Porta potties! 😆 His written directions in the email made it very easy to find. However campsites not marked well so we just chose a spot on the right side of the small meadow hoping there wouldn't be to many other campers! Only one shady spot that a camper van already had so that also made it hot place to camp.
