We are an adult only facility, no children under the age of 18 are allowed. This is primarily for safety reasons, and for the comfort of all our adult guests. We have been the stewards of this aina for over 21 years. When we purchased it in 2002, there were only several varieties of fruit, now there are over 30 and growing. We make our own soil, and have trucked in many hundreds of truckloads of mulch to do that, and constantly make soil with our composting efforts. We are on a dormant volcano, Hualalai, that last erupted in 1801. The weather is ideal for growing most types of tropical fruit and many varieties of vegetables.

Kahuna Room, Private Bath

We loved our stay at the Banyan Tree Guest House! The host and grounds crew were very accommodating and friendly. What a beautiful property! We were gone most of the day adventuring but the Kahana Room which we booked was a great spot to come back to at the end of the day! We would definitely stay there again!

Kahuna Room, Private Bath

Truly a sanctuary

Our stay at Banyan was one of our favorite parts of our time in Hawaii. We adored the attention to detail in the space, which was beautiful and relaxing. There is an incredible view from the sanctuary and the lanai. The pool and common areas were pristine and welcoming, and we enjoyed wandering the grounds. Everyone there was so kind and accommodating. I hope we get the chance to visit again.

Manta Ray Suite Private Bath Lanai

Highlight of the trip!

The Manta Ray suite was perfect. It had everything you could want or need, and more. Including a hot tub, pool, sauna, spacious outdoor kitchen & living room, perfect balcony, and welcoming hosts. Even more so, it’s situated in a nice secluded road, surrounded by lovely people, houses, and environment.

Manta Ray Suite Private Bath Lanai

Loved the ocean view and privacy from my lanai. Wonderful suite with a huge shower. Great amenities, salt water pool, spa and infrared sauna with the outdoor shower was awesome. Community kitchen and living spacious and everything you need. I will be coming back. Oh, the Farm Tour with Benjamin was fun, educational and tasty. Antoinette
