Our campground is located by our main lodge, Arnott's Lodge, which has been in operation for 30+ years. We have been hosting campers on our lawn for a long time, and are able to offer wifi, parking spaces, charging stations, bathrooms and showers, coin-op laundry, and a small outdoor cooking area, all in a safe location. Our check-in hours are between 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.Pitch your own tent on our grassy lawn, or sleep in your car or campervan in our parking lot. We provide hot showers, wifi, a small outdoor cooking area, and coin-op laundry facilities at our nearby small hotel. Electric outlets are nearby to charge your electronics. It is an easy 5-10 minute walk to nearby beaches in the Keaukaha neighborhood.

Nice, well equipped campground

Clean, quiet place to stay. Very good equipped. Nice meadow. Friendly people. We would come again. Recommendations.

Safe and quiet in Hilo

super easy, great staff, hot showers and flush toilets. WIFI and electrical outlets . close to beach and downtown Hilo.

We camped in our car and had a wonderful time .. the beach is walking distance and everyone was very nice and welcoming ..

Safe and quiet in Hilo

Great site

Great location and staff was very helpful. One thing however, they outline in their agreememt they will look inside your tent (when you are not present) and explain this is for your safety and theirs. So be prepared to come back to an open tent after hanging out in Hilo. We did. And if it had rained everything inside would have gotten soaked. Not that big of a deal but just something to be mindful of at this site.

Cool layout and the woman who checked us in was nice, but after a long day of travel, camping was very loud with other groups around.

Safe and quiet in Hilo

It rained a ton while I was there and I still had a fantastic time. The staff was very friendly. They have EVERYTHING! Hot showers, coffee in the morning, covered social areas, a tv room, boardgames, microwave, mini-fridge, laundry machines and you can charge your phones. The owner turned me in to Tim-Tams. I’m addicted now. If you’re camping in Hilo, stay at Arnott’s.
