Aloha, welcome to Kanaka Gardens in Volcano. We have a 3-acre forest of ʻōhiʻa trees and hāpuʻu ferns, with gardens being created throughout the property. We love hosting people and sharing the beauty of the Volcano forest. Enjoy the peaceful setting, perfect cool climate, and refreshing rain that fills our off-grid water catchment system. If you're looking for a relaxing, cool place to explore Volcano and the Kaʻū side of the island, we’d love to have you stay.A-frame cabin located near volcano national park. private drive way, cabin near shower and toilet. parking in front of solar panels. Outdoor small kitchen sink and stove. cooler is provided. Need to buy ice at volcano store. its in a forest of ohia and hapuu ferns very peaceful and beautiful. camp fires can be made in the fire pit near cabin. its a 10 drive to volcano national park.
