Get away from it all at this unique glamping experience in Suches, Georgia! Perfect for a couples getaway or family vacation offering a large bell tent w/ with a queen bed. We also have a 2nd tent at the site which has bunk beds and 2 cots. At mealtimes, head into the roofed kitchen area and enjoy the griddle, stove and grills (charcoal and/or gas). At sunset, throw some logs into the fire pit and relax in the Adirondack chairs while watching the stars until you retreat to the tents for the night. WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT: • This part of the country and camp is in the heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest. The land is heavily wooded and is shaded most of the time from direct sunlight. Therefore, it will likely be damp along the forest floor. If you are looking for a humid-free environment, consider renting our cabin Suches-Altitude Adjustment. • As with camping in the forest, you may see spiders, snakes, yellow jackets, and cuddly things too…like deer, bears, squirrels, and bunnies. If you need a flushing toilet, don’t like spider webs, hate any kind of moisture, etc. this may not be the experience for you. • If you are used to camping in the woods and don’t mind the above, this is the perfect place for you. We have high-speed Wi-fi at the camp. Please bring everything you will need to make the bed warm and comfortable: pillows, mattress pads, sheets or sleeping bags as well as food, and potable water. Don’t fret if you forget anything. Our friends at Cooper’s Creek Store is just one mile west of our property on Morganton Highway and has food, fishing licenses, tackle, bait and local gifts. Don’t be shy to hang around, have a cup of coffee, and chat up the locals. Please be respectful of other guests staying in the cabin on the property. We’ve asked the same of them. The Glamp Shack
A PERFECT Girls weekend!!
Wow!! Mrs. Cathy reached out a few days before our stay date to be sure we were all set and asked if we needed anything. I requested some wood for the fire pit which was provided for us. Upon arrival mouths dropped, we were blow away with the set up of the tents, bathroom, kitchenette- all of it. We knew what to expect based on the pictures but then again we really didn't know. We are old school campers so we packed the kitchen sink. Totally over packed. The only thing that you will need is linens, your personal items and storage containers for your left over food. We brought flash lights but we didn't really even need them. The space is lit very well and are on timers. The queen bed in the main tent is very comfortable. There is a dehumidifier in the large tent that worked amazingly. The tent felt like we were in a bedroom. We didn't use the second tent, we didn't need it. We used the charcoal grill. There are grill utensils so don't worry to bring them. This area is quiet and very peaceful. Loved listening to the owls during the night. There are citronella candles in the covered kitchen. We used our Thermacell. You don't have to worry for bugs in the tents or the bathroom. Mr. Bob and Mrs. Cathy are the perfect hosts. They have thought of everything. They knew our trip was a girlfriend weekend to celebrate our birthdays. Sitting on the table upon our arrival was 2 bottles of wine from Mr. Bob and Mrs. Cathy!!! The perfect touch.

Great time!
Very good set up. My son liked the wagon on the property:) My daughter enljoyed the camp fire and nice seating. We really had a great time- the kitchen setup was great! The owner was very kind and helpful. The location was also great and we enjoyed some great hikes. Would totally go back- maybe in warmer weather:). Thank goodness for the heater!!!

The Glamp Shack
Good location, not super clean
Pros: outdoor kitchen and the tent had a roof over it. Location was great, with easy access to fishing and hikes. Super close to Coopers Creek General Store that had pretty much everything you could need.. great breakfast as well! Cons: the concept was great.. execution was lacking. It's almost as if the glamp sight was an after thought... building debris and trash were found around the glamp sight, cooking surfaces were dirty, random bags of mulch half buried, lights fallen down and/or not functional, tiki torches completely out of fluid, etc. The tent also leaked a bit on the one side and got my son's sleeping bag wet. Overall a fun experience, not worth the "glamping" price tag though.
