It’s private because you’re the only camper, but the owners live in the barn. Our family enjoy camping but we rough it in tents and use the outdoors as our bathroom and use biodegradable toilet paper. We have a large family so there were a lot of us of all ages at the campsite. While one of our oldest boys was in the only private wooded area using the restroom a “gentleman” came out of the barn brandishing a rifle and told all of us to “stay up here” we explained that someone was in the woods using the restroom but he waved his rifle at us and kept going into the woods. Our oldest came back explained his interaction with this guy and started going to the woods to clean his mess as instructed by this man. I told him not to because he told us to stay up at the campsite and he went into the woods with a gun. Approximately 2-3 mins later the guy came back out of the woods still holding his rifle and started aggressively pointing his finger and yelling at our oldest about the toilet paper in the woods. I told him he didn’t go back because he told us to stay by the tents. He continued to be aggressive and told me I haven’t seen rude. I never saw any decency or respect either. All I saw was a man waving a rifle and trying to intimidate a family with adults, teens, and toddlers. The man, not the host, kicked us off the property (in the middle of cooking dinner on our grill) and watched us the whole time while we packed. He got our money that we paid to be there and our grill.

Who wouldn't want to wake up in a pasture with serenity, horses, greenery and all the wholesome things that go a long with that? Even enjoy the ride on country roads just to get there. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Such a beautiful and peaceful spot! We were thankful for the easy pull in and sweet hosts that shared their land and horses with us! If we weren’t on our journey up north we certainly would have loved to have stayed for a few days!

Myself, hubby and 4 dogs stayed at Krisi's land for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. We stayed in their back field to have more privacy and it was just what we needed. Our dogs got to run around the huge field off leash and it was a nice walk around for us also. We got to take a trail ride on their horses - very peaceful! They were both very kind people with a beautifully kept property. There is a walmart about 15 minutes away along with La Hacienda restaurant nearby. The only negative is we couldn't stay longer! I would recommend 100%
