Our dream was to find an appropriate home for a bed and breakfast but...when we drove onto this property...it spoke to me. It was a place of peace, a haven if you will. It is rough land. It needs work. We are working on remodeling the log cabin as well as making the two lovely pastures a place where campers come come and just relax. We are only about 6 or 7 miles to Helen, GA where there are so many things to do such as tubing, ziplining, hiking, etc.  Since we are not a proper campground, we welcome our campers to use the bathroom in our home. We'd love to cook you breakfast or dinner or both if you like! In any case, we look forward to meeting you!

    Great quick getaway spot near Helen
    My kids and I stayed at Seleen Hallow as a last minute reservation for a whim weekend getaway. Thanks to 4th of July weekend every site we checked had been booked up and I am so happy that we stumbled on this gem! Jeannie and Eric were great hosts who welcomed us and then let us be. The ground were beautiful and we had a perfect tent site in a valley. Lite accomodations but honestly a great location. We hiked Hemlock Falls and visited Helen while in the area and Seleen Hollow made a perfect home base. Check it out #hikerx

    Peaceful, beautiful, safe haven!
    Seleen Hollow is AMAZING and Jeannie is a fantastic host! Everything was as described or better! My daughter and I spent two nights and I would have loved to have stayed longer, but ...alas....work. It was a wonderful, peaceful place to stay!

    Seleen Hollow was my first Hipcamp experience and it was a great one! Eric and Jeannie were very welcoming and friendly. They were so kind to open up their home to us in order to use the bathroom and showers. And my dog absolutely loved playing with their two and exploring the property. I can't wait to return. Definitely recommend Seleen Hollow to anyone looking to camp near Helen.

    Beautiful & convenient
    Jeannie’s place was perfect for my husband and I’s weekend camping trip! We took our dogs and loved that we could let them roam around the land. There are huge front and back pastures and we got to pick where we wanted to set up camp. It was so convenient to use their indoor restroom as well. Jeannie’s place is the best!!

    What a wonderful place to pitch our tent! Jeenie and her husband greeted us with kindness and hospitality you could only hope for. I would recommend their space any day- it is a beautiful piece of land they have settled on, and they are equally beautiful people. Thank you both for giving us a place for the night. :)
