We loved it! It was a quaint little hideaway that wasn’t too far away. The road noise got a little loud at some times, but it wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed the dogwood tent. It had everything we could’ve needed, if we had come unprepared. Everything was just nice and clean, even the canoe! We definitely would recommend and even plan on a return visit with family. The host was very helpful and responsive. For hipcamp bookings, the reservation number is a little different than from Ramsden Lake bookings, so for any add ons, just reach out to the host for your reservation number.

We loved it! Beautiful gated area. Peaceful. Clean. Everything there as advertised. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a night or two

I booked this place last minute and the accommodation was very nice. The airstream campsite looked just like the images. Additionally, the check-in and check-out process was super easy and there was someone I could text right away if I had any questions or concerns. I definitely want to come back to Ramsden lake but maybe stay in a tent next time!

My husband and I decided to spend our 10th anniversary here. It was our first glamping experience and we weren’t sure what to expect. This place was excellent. I promise it was the most relaxing vacation we’ve both had. We stayed at the dogwood tent right on the water. No tv, no WiFi, no problem! Definitely will be coming back. Decorated beautifully. Outside shower with hot water…big claw foot tub was super luxurious. Also it came with a canoe. My only complaint is that I didn’t catch a fish over 2lbs. My fault i guess lol. 10/10 recommend.

Didn't end up staying as my road trip took longer than anticipated. I asked the host if I could change the date (noting that I had only booked this trip one day in advance) and was given a generic response with the policy (no refunds or transferability of dates). Given that I'd just booked the place so last-minute, the total corporate response without replying to my message and the no-refund and non-transferability stricy policy, this place was not in the camp spirit. Especially as the host didn't have to incur any cleaning costs, a more reasonable approach would have been warranted and appreciated.

Loved the experience, it’s everything that is good about camping without any of the annoying bits. Mattress was comfortable, hot shower delightful and the location and view were amazing! We will be back.

The site is incredible. It’s tucked away and private and has every comfort you’d need. The airstream is well appointed with comfortable details. I enjoyed having a kitchen and sink for food prep and also appreciated the bathroom and shower set up. The table outside and fire pit area were really nice too.

There’s nothing about this place that could make it better. It’s a private serenity escape that has everything you could possibly need for camping already on site. The owners were fast to respond and helpful with any questions we had. We will be back again and again for years to come.

Lakeside tent is a perfect getaway. We decided to stay for two nights to get away from the panhandle of Florida and booked on a whim a day before.
Despite being a last minute booking Blaine was very attentive and left on the string lights for us so we could find our way around easily and even showed up to drop off some additional firewood after we realized we needed more. We opted for the breakfast basket and cooked on the fire both mornings and for dinner which was really a treat. We also added on the s’mores basket which was enough for the two of us for two nights with extra to spare. It was super easy to reach out to Blaine for anything we needed extra and she was very personable and easy to get ahold of.
The space is nicely decorated with greenery, steps away from a lake. Everything is very well planned. I was a little worried about the cold as it got to 37 degrees but the heater inside gets to insane heat levels for even the coldest of people (such as me who keeps my house at 78 degrees so that’s saying something). The outdoor shower also gets super warm and I was very comfortable even in the chilly weather.
I was a little worried about bringing my partner who tends not to be into the more rustic/true camping side of things (especially worried he would diss the compost toilet completely) but everything is set up so nicely, clean, and efficient that he had no issues.
I’ll definitely come back to stay which I think is hard to say when there’s such a plentiful amount of places I still want to try but I think this place would definitely be worth more than one visit if not a yearly trip to decompress from everyday life
