We had chaos ensue with one of my dogs getting ill before our trip and couldn’t make it. Joseph went out of his way to accommodate us. We’ll definitely rebook.

Great little primitive spot just off the highway! The opening in the trees made it great for looking at the stars. Greatly appreciated Joseph letting us secure a night on his property on such short notice!

It was a secluded place close to the city. Neat spot by the a creek if you’re tent camp. We had a camper and it gave us plenty of room to let the dogs run around.

Very secluded area, great to let the dog run around. I liked having all the space, and the trail to the creek has a great big tree. Sounds of nature were peaceful to fall asleep to.

We loved it! It was a quick reset to everyday life and we had so much space. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and that was perfect because we didn’t have to travel far at all. Joseph was the perfect host. Communication was awesome. He even gave us a couple of extra hour to really taking in the grounds and explore before we left. We will definitely be back. 10 out it 10 experience!! They even have wild bunnies by the creek it was sooo beautiful and clean!!

Let me start by saying there isn't anything wrong with this campsite. It's close by Atlanta so not a lot of travel, it has a nice clearing, two fire pits and your choice of clearing or woods camping. Also some nice flat areas to set up tent. The cassette toilet and shower area were nice as well and the owner is very nice and responsive. However, I found it disappointing there was no way to enjoy the nearby creek. It's 6-8ft down no matter how far I hiked into the woods in either direction. The one area that is clearly used by most is EXTREMELY muddy and slippery and the base by the water is small and muddy. Like, past my ankles, muddy. Now, it did rain right before our trip but even without the rain, the slope is steep and the landing is small. This isn't the owner's fault, it's the lay of the land but it was disappointing to not be able to enjoy it. A ladder or tiny dock might be nice. My biggest disappointment though is the amount of traffic noise. There is a LOT of it and late into the night. There isn't a lot around for day trips but we did catch a movie and there is a hiking park. If you have kids there is a water park nearby. All in all, it think it's a cute little set up and gets the job done, it just doesn't meet my particular interests for camping.

Joseph was very accommodating and listened when we had personal issues. Great campsite. Secluded but still very accessible and easy to get to stores for anything you need within a couple miles. We both had cell service too, which was a plus, Also there's a great burger place not even 2 miles up the road called Hamburger Mikes you gotta try if you go.

Joeseph was a great host, he responded promptly and the campsite was set up perfectly! It is secluded enough that you can get away without feeling completely lost. There is a outhouse you can use and there are multiple firepits set up. Joseph even left dog treats, mints for us, a doggy bowl, and there was water at the campsite. Joseph was super accommodating and even let us check out later because of our situation. Definitely a great host and campsite and we will be back 😀

Nice spot with a lot of potential with some work. It’s a bit too muddy to get down to the creek and the only other downside is the sound of sirens pretty constant. Other than that it’s secluded and fairly private and quiet. Host is great. Gave us a heads up on the mud issue. Had plenty of firewood stocked at the Fire pit. Has a camp toilet and sink. Close to everything and a DG at the end of the road. Would recommend and stay again

Cool spot! It was very muddy while we were there but the host let us know ahead of time so we were prepared with proper shoes, etc. My dog had a great time playing in the creek! Will be back!

It’s a nice and clean well cared for place to park, set up camp and be safe while traveling. It was quite “noisy” for me as I’m not used to hearing sirens while camping” but host was awesome. Also it is January so it was quite muddy back there in some spots. Glad I had four wheel drive.

This is a great place, secluded but blocked from the road with a stand of trees. Nice area but it was a little muddy because of all the rain recently. That was not a problem because the owner let me know about is and true to his word, it was drying up. I will use this camp again when I pass through if it is available and the right time for me! Thanks again!

I really enjoyed Joseph’s property, and how well maintained the property is. Joseph even let us check in early due to the the possibility of rain, so he wanted us to enjoy as much dry time as possible. I would recommend to a friend, and I’ll be back again soon.

Nice space away from the city. It can get a little loud from the traffic, but very private. The owner had wood chopped up and chairs out and ready for us which was a pleasant surprise. Overall a nice stay and would recommend.
