Site #5 - Platform in the Pines
Lisa and James campground is lovely and well kept. Beautiful natural environment. Lisa gave us a tour of the farm and we met all the animals. Our campsite was a nice platform for our tent. Grill and fire pit. They provided our firewood as purchased and even gave us some ice for our cooler. There is good safety with fire extinguishers at the platform. The bathhouse is clean and well designed and well constructed. James does good work and they are building another bathhouse and camp store with WiFi access. Plan to return!

Very Nice!
The campground is very nice and peaceful.
We didn't get to go on walks or go see the animals because it rained all day, all four days we were there. We were there to see family nearby though, so it was fine.
We are looking forward to going back again.

Cozy, Quiet Camping!
My partner and I were looking for a quiet place to camp somewhere, anywhere in GA, just to escape the FL heat for a long weekend. I found Lisa and James' land and had a feeling it was just what we needed - and I was right! We camped in our new roof top tent on primitive site 3 and had everything we needed. A cozy site with picnic table and fire pit, plenty of trees to remind us we were in the woods, a beautiful view of horses and even more wonderful animals a short walk further into their property, clean (and adorable) outhouse a few steps away. Lisa and James' are wonderful hosts, as well as their pups that may pay you a visit (if you're lucky). Bonus: Only about an hour drive to Providence Canyon (Georgia's Little Grand Canyon) and other state parks for your hiking enjoyment. We will most definitely be back!

Very cozy A-Frame
THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE A-FRAME, NOT A TENT SITE
Ahead of my vacation, I saw that the weather would be rainy for the weekend I planned on staying, I messaged Lisa and James to see if I could get a A-Frame instead. They messaged me right back and confirmed it was available, and when I arrived I paid the difference and set inside.
The A-Frame was extremely comfortable, with AC and very nice provided covers. The campsite itself was very very well maintained, though still being expanded. The showers and restrooms were very well appointed and had ample hot water, it was a great relief after a long drive down. I only pet the ponys and farm animals a couple of times, but I would imagine children would enjoy them more. (A bit of a warning for those with allergies, they do have two friendly farm dogs that walk the campsite. I pet them as well.) A gorgeous secluded campground that is still extremely comfortable. As a bit of warning; there is very little cell service in the campsite, just as a warning. The price for seclusion.

Great primitive site
Loved this site. Great mix of sun and shade and horses were great neighbors. Will stay again
