Situated just a short drive from the vibrant city of Savannah, guests can enjoy the serenity of the retreat while still being within easy reach of cultural attractions and dining options. Nestled among the pines at Mid Way Retro Retreat, Avalon '72 is designed for two and features two comfortable twin beds, air conditioning, heat, Wi-Fi, TV, a refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker—bringing modern comforts to a truly vintage experience. Unlike our Shasta campers, Avalon '72 includes its own private shower, or guests may choose to enjoy our nearby Art Deco-inspired Streamline Bathhouse, complete with deep soaking tubs and private bathrooms. Spend your days wandering five peaceful acres, enjoying catch-and-release fishing in the pond, relaxing on the covered dock, gathering around the fire pit, or simply slowing down beneath the Georgia pines. An outdoor grill is available for cooking, while the refrigerator and microwave make it easy to enjoy meals outdoors. Whether you're reliving memories of family camping trips or discovering vintage camping for the first time, Avalon '72 offers an authentic retro getaway that's full of character, comfort, and simple pleasures. Inside, Rosie is designed for two and features a comfortable queen bed, air conditioning, heat, Wi-Fi, TV, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. She also has a private toilet and sink for added convenience. Just a few steps away, you'll find our Art Deco-inspired Streamline Bathhouse, complete with private bathrooms, deep soaking tubs, handheld showers, and modern amenities that make vintage camping feel luxurious. An outdoor grill is available for cooking, while the refrigerator and microwave are perfect for keeping drinks cold and heating meals. To preserve our vintage campers, cooking inside the camper is not permitted. Inside, Trixie comfortably sleeps two in a cozy queen bed and includes air conditioning, heat, Wi-Fi, a TV, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. She also has a private toilet and sink for added convenience. Just steps away is our Art Deco-inspired Streamline Bathhouse, featuring private bathrooms with deep soaking tubs, handheld showers, and comfort-height toilets for a luxurious camping experience.
