We loved our weekend at the Lizard Sniffer Ranch!! We stayed at the Wilbur site. This horse farm is a little slice of heaven. Although we camped, they also have cabins available. It was the perfect place for star gazing and relaxing. The owners were very nice and always a text away. We will definitely be back!!

Awesome place, we didnt have time to stay long but we could see Randy has put a lot of thought and work in this place to make it an awesome place to stay a few days, definetly wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

We loved every moment at The Lizard Sniffer Ranch! It far exceeded our expectations! There were surprises around every corner of his beautiful property. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the many paths and trails. The lake was so relaxing and Randy had every Amenity you could ever imagine! Kayaks, floats, fishing gear. The bathroom at the lake was wonderful with an outside shower that I could stay in for hours! The horses, donkey, geese, dogs and lizards were something else. There are so many beautiful little cabins for rent. Randy and his family certainly put much time and love in their vision! Randy was the most gracious host ever! We can hardly wait to return!

We booked this on the busy 4 of July. Par two was the perfect get away. My wife felt very comfortable with the farm and the place where she could do her morning walks. The directions using Google maps were perfect and the signage inside the property were perfect. It was a full hookup site. We spent 2 glorious days there and would recommend it. It’s just about 10 minutes from interstate 20.

Our time was too short. We only stayed 1 night but it is really a great place. So great to be able to let our dogs (4) have a safe place to run around and work off energy. The paddock is a great asset to an RV site. The owner is very friendly and we could probably have talked for much longer. Clean, quiet and very relaxing. Cannot wait to go back. Oh and you can bring your horses as they have cottages with paddocks also!

We had an amazing time at the Lizardsniffer camp! A friend of mine and I stayed for some mommy and me time and our expectations were over exceeded. We got to experience one of the cabins which was very comfortable and luxurious as well as tent camping. We were happy with the tent site as it had everything we needed very close together. Although it was early in camping season our kids still enjoyed swimming in the lake and going out in the kayaks. The land is large and beautiful with plenty of space. We also enjoyed seeing the horses and donkey. Overall we were extremely satisfied with the trip and felt spoiled by Randy and his staff, how can you not with every toilet having a bidet. Thank you for a great time!

My husband and I stayed for three nights with our pet, and it was exactly what we expected—it met our expectations! The place was very peaceful ; and it was calm and quiet. The owners were very friendly and helpful and you can tell they care about their guests. Our site was also perfect for bringing your pet. The beautiful lake, the corrals with gorgeous horses, and the cleanliness of the place are truly commendable. We had a great time.

We just returned from a RV camping weekend with our horses. As great as the reviews are, the reviews undersell it and our expectations were far exceeded. Randy and Lisa are extraordinary hosts and great people. Their hospitality is unmatched. There were unexpected surprises around every corner. Take the Amenities cabin for example. What RV park offers guests wifi, jacuzzi tub, a bidet, and laundry machines? Need firewood? They have it for you. Want to explore their 160 acres, they will loan you a golf cart. We had a chance to check out their cabins as well. Indescribably cool. Your friends, family, horses, and dogs will love it here. I know we did.

Love this place! I was only able to stay for a night (I was just passing through) and regret that it wasn’t longer. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay. The property is amazing and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed spending time with them while I was there, as well. The property has signage to help you find your way to your cabin or RV site. There is also a Hobbit home for you to visit. The owners have plans to expand and they sound like they will be fun and interesting sites to stay. The trails are great for a horseback ride or just for walking. The pond looks like it will be a great place to hang out at once the weather warms up again. 10/10 recommend this place for a longer stay.

We had a great stay at LizzardSniffer! The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Firewood was already by the firepit, saving us a trip. We didn't get to explore the property too much, but would definitely stay again and explore when the weather is warmer!

We traveled to Lizardsniffer with our teenage daughter and two pets. Both Lisa and Randy are exceptional hosts, stopping by with firewood, checking in to make sure all is well after we set up, and letting our daughter visit with and even ride the horses. It was actually our very first trip as campers with a travel trailer and we couldn't have had a better experience. There are sweet animals to watch, fun trails to explore, and every amenity you need to feel at home. We will definitely travel to Lizarsniffer again to relax to enjoy a leisurely walk along with the excellent hospitality that Randy and Lisa provide.

Randy is a great guy. He dropped us a golf cart and checked on us during Hurricane Helene. He made sure we were safe and communicates quickly if you ask him a question.
Everything was as advertised- good full hookups and the well water is clean and cold. Our dogs loved it at Lizardsniffer, and ran all over the property. They loved swimming down in the pond too. If you’re traveling down I-20 it’s a close spot to layover, but we had no problem running up to Athens for some things as well. Good folks, kind folks. Lots of love has been put into this property and we enjoyed wandering around the place.

We had such a fantastic time at Lizardsniffer! The pond, equipped with floats and boats, was beautiful, and we enjoyed it immensely. But it was the time we spent with the beautiful horses that truly made our weekend special. The golf cart was an unexpected convenience, and the gesture of delivering s'mores ingredients to our campsite was a delightful surprise. It's clear that you and your family truly enjoy what you do. I’m not sure where to begin… Absolutely a beautiful place to stay. We travel in a 40’ Class A And had no trouble trouble getting there.
The whole setting is simply amazing…
Our site had a paddock, for our use, for two dogs, a lab and a Rottweiler. The scenery driving around is amazing. The private lake on site was like bathwater.
Randy even loaned us a golf cart to drive around on the trails with. What a wonderful place to live.

We had such a great stay at Lizard Sniffer, and were sad to go after only a couple of nights. The rv sites are spacious, and hookups worked great. The amenities include an enclosed space with your site, which was perfect for our dog to play in. Dogs can be off leash if friendly, so be aware of that. We were able to walk around the grounds, see the horses and donkey. And Randy was very friendly, greeting us and making sure we had everything we need.
There is also a small lake with kayaks, tubes for boating, paddle board etc. There is a bathhouse on property, although we did not personally need it.
We would definitely love to get back there for some horse back riding.

Randy’s Farm was amazing , one of the most kind and hospitable hosts thus far . He brought us a golf cart so we could explore. The stables and horses were beautiful , miles of trails to walk or cart around. Randy has put a lot of thought and effort into making the farm a great escape from the fast paced world . Our site had a personal paddock for the dogs to run and play . A friend of Randy’s on the farm , Dan , was very cool and helped make our stay comfortable, only stayed a couple nights but Dan is a one of a kind , awesome guy . We will see you again soon !

Very nice property and owner. Quite a bit of room between campsites so it feels like you have some privacy. Paddock was great for our dogs. Beautiful horses and a cute little donkey. The lake was also very picturesque.

Had an amazing little vacation weekend getaway. The camper spots were far enough away to have some nice privacy. The lake was beautiful to play around in and kayak and fish. My daughter loved going to visit the horses and riding one. We loved walking our dogs on the trails and just getting away from the city lights and back to nature. Thank you so much for the stay we will definitely make our way back there.

Camping at Par 3 was fun! We brought our 2 dogs and 2 horses for trail riding. The fenced area worked great for the horses and dogs. Our kids loved fishing at the lake!
Cons: Other dogs on the property would roam and bark at our horses and dogs as early as 7AM.
