Relax and have a glass of wine at Serenity Cellars Winery, with live music on the weekends, only .4 miles away as well as other nearby Wineries. Enjoy the German Festivities in Alpine Helen only 4 miles away.Located in a quiet neighborhood next to scenic Yonah mountain. Campsite is on paved driveway on a residential property. Short drive to local wineries, hikes, waterfalls, restaurants and bars, and of course beautiful Alpine Helen. Property offers: Electric hookup WiFi Fire pit and firewood Water hose access

Yonah scenic site

Very Nice & Helpful Hosts

My family of 8 had a wonderful time here on Laura's land. Her and her family were very nice and helpful. We had an issue with the power one night, and they quickly jumped on finding a solution. We ended up having to leave early due to an issue with a neighbor; however, the hosts were prompt in handling that situation too, and they offered prompt and helpful solutions. The hosts were very friendly and kind people, and the property was spacious enough for my 20 foot tent. We were able to either park in the grass or on the paved driveway. We decided to park in the grass to be closer to where we wanted to set up the tent. The ground where we chose to set up was not completely level; however, we still set up the 20-foot tent without much of an issue. Even after that, there was still room to the side near the fire pit with spare chairs. They also had a basketball goal setup at the front of the driveway. If using the GPS, it may try to take you to the very end loop (no outlet) of the road; however, you'll actually reach the property much sooner. We passed the house twice thanks to the GPS, and Laura responded to our texts quickly to help us find them. Overall, aside from the issue with the neighbor, we enjoyed being on Laura's property. We enjoyed the beautiful view, quiet, southern hospitality, and the hosts' good spirits.

Yonah scenic site

Location is perfect!

Every campsite in the area was booked, so I decided to look up hosts near Helen, GA on Hipcamp. I found this listing and booked immediately. Our host made sure we had everything we needed. We had electric, water, free firewood, and large fire ring was available. This property is very close to Helen, GA, so the location was perfect.
