My residential acres are surrounded by old growth forest with a creek and the North Oconee river. My home is up on the hill, overlooking the campsites, and the goats are busy landscaping the Hill. You can enjoy the river and go for hikes along the trails in the woods. You’re very close to the Eastside, Of Athens, and all the commercial needs. The property backs up to Uga’s golf course.

Cook’s Cove
Beautiful and private piece of land. My dog, my boyfriend, and I loved the water. It was very serene and very close to Athens. We did a little fishing and exploring of the river. I will say though, it is on a public river so we did see some other people. Mr. James’s was nice and kept the bathrooms in good condition. Overall great experience and would camp here again!

Tent camping down by the river was just what I was looking for! Nice grass, shade cover, cooling water, a small bathhouse a short walk up the hill, plus Athens is right around the corner. Also, James is great! Thanks for the stay!

Riverside RV site
Perfect layover!
Tent camping nestled in the river running through Athens. Tenting was my original plan, but the small cabin opened up and the host reached out to me to kindly ask if I would prefer AC. Worked out perfectly as it was a hot mid June day. Cabin and adjacent outhouse/shower was perfect. Host met at site and was super cool and accommodating! Highly recommend and close to all Athens has to offer!

Great!
I liked tent camping on James’ land and the wonderful sound of the river lulled me to sleep easily. It’s private, beautiful, and easy to find. His communication was friendly and clear. The bathhouse is awesome and I just loved the goats! Recommend having a tent footprint or tarp, and a wagon to carry things to the tent site. A really great little spot!

The cave cabin
The whole experience was great! I saw deer in the morning looking out the window at the mountain. And the goats are so cute. My favorite part was the swing down by the river. I was down there for hours and loved it
