We, the wife and two dogs, love this place. Nearly every summer and winter our travels takes us near Deerfield and we love it so much, we keep coming back. The location is scenic and private and quiet. It maybe out-of-the-way, but worth the extra few miles.

A Hidden Slice of Heaven

What a beautiful spot to camp! We enjoyed a lovely evening walk with our dog and another before leaving in the morning. Thomas is a pleasant and accommodating host. The facilities were clean and offered everything we needed. Definitely felt like a safe place to stay. We would highly recommend this Hipcamp site and host.

Just what my wife and I needed

To be honest, my wife and I have been to Tom’s hip camp before and have always found it as a relaxing getaway. We also enjoyed this trip and expanded what we typically would do. We ended up going to the A H Stevens State park and went through his home in Crawfordville, Georgia, and checked out some other really cool history in the area that isn’t far. We also met a great couple that we connected with and shared a couple hour conversation that really made the whole weekend relaxing and fun.

Beautiful, Peaceful, Well-kept

The campsite was easy to find. Tom is a gracious host. The property was well-maintained: toilet worked and was clean, shower worked, and the screened picnic area was set up nicely for preparing meals. The meadow where we set up our tent was mowed and neat. Another couple was also staying that night, and they were delightful. We had a quiet night sleeping under the stars and woke up refreshed. We will not hesitate to stay here when our travels bring us back through Georgia.

What a peaceful little quiet spot in this giant world. Tom was an excellent host. He has trails to walk. Beautiful pond. Fully stocked. I LOVED how one minutes you're in a field, then the woods, then a swamp. My favorite were the little bridges. Lots of wildlife. Truly a Gem. I will definitely return.

This is a lovely quiet get away . The owners are relaxed and very friendly. The showers, bathrooms etc are clean and well run. We had a great time hiking and roasting marshmallows around the campfire.

Thomas was a more than wonderful host! He was very helpful and detailed with instructions on how to get to the camp sites. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this peaceful place to others.

Site 1 - Deerfield Farms

I really enjoyed my stay here at Thomas & Jackie’s beautiful land from the moment I arrived. Such welcoming hosts and kind people! (Thanks for the Homemade pesto 😍) The campsites are simply wonderful with a lot of room to roam and explore around the pond and trails in the woods. The amenities are great, including the cows grazing nearby. I’m definitely keeping this farm on my favorites & will be back!

Deerfield Farms is an amazingly beautiful, quaint, well-maintained campground. It’s truly a hidden gem. Tom met us at the gate to escort us to our campsite. He and his were very hospitable and helpful. I was engulfed with a sense of peace immediately upon entering the campground. The sheer tranquility of this beautiful place was amazing. The mesmerizing display of the moon over the trees at night brought calmness to my soul! There’s a stocked pond with bass, crappies, etc., a clean outhouse with a flushing toilet and sink with an outdoor shower on the side of the that out house, a huge fire pit and plenty of space to walk around. I picked a shopping bag full of purple muscadine grapes from the vines that were on the property; they were so juicy and sweet! A plus on the property is the wraparound porch screenhouse! One side is within a couple feet of a tiny creek. It has a nice dining table to sit 6-8 people, microwave, dish satellite TV, refrigerator, deep fryer, counter and double sink, etc. There’s a picnic area on the outside of that’s currently inaccessible due to a fallen tree from hurricane Helene a few weeks ago -no issue get a blanket and have a picnic by the beautiful pond! There’s also a propane grill on the deck. This is the perfect camping spot for a couples getaway, family vacation and solo campers. Is quiet and safe and I am definitely coming back!

Had a great night camping here. Was able to see all the stars at night and had a good rest. Took a nice walk in the morning on the grounds and saw the beautiful property complete with grapes on the vineyard!

The place was absolutely amazing. I had my dog with me and she swam in the pond and then ran in the field and we both had a blast. It was one of the best campsites I've been to in a long time.

Spectacular Property

My wife and I are avid Hip Camp travelers. The power of Hip Camp is the quality of the hosts we have met along the way. Thomas is an awesome host. He was responsive to all our questions and the property was spectacular. The best part of the stay was Thomas spending time with us telling us about the history of their amazing property and getting to know my wife and I. We will definitely return. It’s people that make Hip Camp an amazing way to travel.

This was an excellent camp site and a beautifully well maintained property. Lots of amenities like a TV room withe direct tv and out door grills, beautiful lake and walking trails. Thomas was an great host who made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Super relaxing location

Beautiful, quiet RV campground. Only 6 sites together on lots of acreage. Has a screened in porch w/dish tv, grills and outside deck over looking the little lake. Only down side was bad cell service. Great place for a night two to rest and relax. Host was super sweet and meets first timers at the gate to show you where everything is.

Deerfield Farms saves the day

Site 1 - Deerfield Farms

I can't say enough about this Hipcamp site. First, my great appreciation is based on the fact that I had reserved a site at another campground and it turned out to be highly unsatisfactory but at this point in the day, once I determined that, it was 6 pm and I was in need of a backup (and my dog was getting hungry). The next closest was Deerfield Farms and it looked very good but was not sure I could book at that late time. I did so on the phone app and then decided to call to make sure the host would be present. Thomas answered immediately. he gave me directions and said he would meet me at the gate. 30 minutes later I arrived, Thomas was waiting in a golf cart, and he led me to the site. This is wide open space with plenty of distance between sites, electric hookup, and water. My dog could run free. Plus, several amenities Thomas invited me to use. . Bathroom with sink, outdoor shower, and a screened in community room with tables, TV, refrigerator, and microwave. It was perfect. I was so glad I had rejected the earlier site and should have booked with Deerfield farms first. Thomas is a gem and the campsite is one of the best I have visited..

Unplug from the world.

It was an amazing weekend at Tommy property. We were personally met at the gate and showed to our site. This is a great place to go for peace and quiet to unplug from the world. Because there is no cell service for 10 miles in any direction. There are some great local country stores, one of which has the best butcher shop I've ever been too. We spent our days enjoying the quiet mornings drinking out coffee and fishing at the Stocked Fishing pond. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay to relax. Can't wait to go back..

Feels like “Home” 🤎

Deerfield Farms is an absolutely beautiful campground! We felt right at home as soon as Mr. Tom met us at the entrance gate and guided us to our campsite. We stayed at Campsite #2, that was located right in front of the most peaceful screened in patio area overlooking a gorgeous pond. There was also an outdoor restroom and shower (if needed). I couldn’t say more about how hospitable Mr. Tom and his wife were, and how welcome we felt staying on his property. Our family hiked, fished, and enjoyed the prettiest scenery! Our dog enjoyed off leash time, also allowed at Deerfield Farms! This campsite quickly became a favorite of ours, and we can’t wait to get back there! We would recommend again and again! Thank you, Tom, for allowing us the pleasure of staying at your campground. We loved it!

Peaceful Getaway!

This beautiful location had everything we were looking for included an amazing stocked pond, scenic views, fire pit, full RV hookups and breath taking sunsets providing a peaceful environment for us to relax and enjoy life. A local hand tossed pizza place is near by if you're feeling hungry. Forgot something, there is a small town minutes away that should have anything you need. Mr. Tom is a gracious host that made us feel welcomed and was always available when we needed him. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for a place to unwind and reset. We plan to come back soon!
