Welcome to a sweet and soulful little piece of the woodlands. Tucked in on 4.5 acres, this spot is a secluded, enchanting piece of old Florida. Stay in one of our three designated camping sites, tie up a hammock, gaze at the pond inhabitants, and check out what's growing in the seasonal garden. Also enjoy the many flowering plants and other special trees. Florida's gem-colored, healing spring waters are just a 20 minutes up the way and local retreat centers and yoga studios dot the area. Gator fans? Head into Gainesville for a game and to visit the University of Florida. Mostly, enjoy. We look forward to hosting you! To note for all guests: We suggest arriving before dark so as to make set up easy and comfortable. We do not require a formal check-in and encourage being self-reliable in set up of primitive campsites. (For something with more structure and a space already set up, check out our Aframe cabin.) We do have water, a composting toilet, sink, and groundtemp shower for your use and ease. ***PLEASE NOTE FARM TOURS AND ANIMAL EXPERIENCES ARE CURRENTLY PAUSED***

The Blue Heron — Camper/RV Hookups
We loved this little oasis of peace and quiet. It is placed in agricultural area. There are 5 camping sites well spaced with vegetation buffers scattered around a pond. The grounds and all facilities are well tended to which speaks to Tim's work ethic. The RV site was the perfect space for our little travel trailer. Tim comes around to check-in on each camper without being intrusive. We had a great weekend adventure with Wildflower pond being our "home" base. We drove the 40 minutes to Ichetucknee State Park and spent a leisurely day floating the river and then ventured down the road to Sandy Point resturant on the Sante Fe river in Banford, FL. It was just wanted we needed to feed our souls. Thank you Allie and Tim for sharing your land!!

Bragging Eagle
Beautiful property with a nice pond, and the perfect host. It's quiet, far from highways, but you will hear the owls, birds, frogs, and some horses, roosters, and dogs off in the distance. The two spots we put our tent on were for basic camping. Tip: use highway 235 from Alachua and then NW 75th to get to the property if you don't like dirt roads.

Perfect little spot
We loved camping at Willow Pond (blue heron site). We came into town to ride 🚵‍♀️MTB at San Felasco State Park, which is only a short drive away. Super quiet and peaceful🥰

Gorgeous views, so peaceful, nicest people you’ll ever meet! Everything was lovely and exactly as described. We got farm fresh eggs (delicious) and even got to meet their Belgian horse!

Loved this place! Allie was so communicative & the scenery was beautiful. Camping area was private, but still easily accessible to common areas. Would 100% stay here again!

The Blue Heron — Camper/RV Hookups
We booked our stay at Blue Heron just a few hours before arrival, following a change in travel plans. I’m happy we ended up here! Check in was easy and we loved everything about our stay. It was quiet, great for stargazing, and a beautiful space. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area
