We enjoyed staying at Charles's place in our trailer. He greeted us on arrival and guided us to our camp spot. We parked under some beautiful oaks in a grassy area. The place is very quiet and peaceful. Our dog enjoyed exploring the open grassy area. Easy to find using GPS.

Peaceful stay with the dogs
Scott's property is absolutely gorgeous! We loved camping under the tree canopy and it made for cooler days in the shade. The sunsets at dusk were beautiful and the fireflies were neat to watch around the campfire. We camped in Site 1 which is 50amp service and we had a dogbone adapter so no problem. Site 2 is 30amp service. There is power and water to each site and a dump station on the property. Scott came out to greet us on Saturday and loved our 3 big fur kids. ❤️ They also loved to run all over the trails and Scott was so kind to block his property off for us. He also had firewood readily available and stacked for our use. Excellent communication and directions! Scott answered all of our questions promptly before booking. Be sure to follow his directions as GPS leads you past the campsite. Lamar, his camp host, was readily available for anything we might need and was very knowledgeable about the area including where the best fishing spots are. He got us settled in and absolutely loved our 3 fur kids, especially Drax our Doberman. We had such a wonderful stay and our 3 kids came home happy and relaxed! Thanks so much Scott and Lamar. We will definitely be back!

Great first hipcamp site experience. Our host was wonderful! Scott and his GF were very friendly and very hospitable. Nice hiking trail (about 1.5 miles or so) right on the property, also right down the street from the Bear Creek Educational Forrest. Will definitely be a spot for future trips, our group had a great time!

Camping with 3 elementary kids.
This is why we love hipcamp-ing. Host Scott knows the area and is able to give us good suggestions for food and recreation. Massive property for the KIDS to explore. My 3 BOYS spent hours appreciating the land. Everything I needed for my CAMPER was there: water, electric, sewer, etc. We found SPACE, QUIET, and a GOOD LOCATION here.

Great setting
Nice quiet setting. Very diligent and attentive to guests, went well out of his way to guide us when lost, just when settling down for his dinner, and checked in on us during the stay to ensure had everything we needed. Had fire going to welcome us, and set-up for utilities. DO NOT FOLLOW GPS--adhere to hosts directions!!
