Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Do you want luxury? This is not your place. Do you want affordability, a place to rest your head that isn't a truck stop or an over-lighted parking lot? This is your place.
Located behind the Love's truck stop just off of I-10, this is a perfect location to call it a night after a long trip, as you have four equidistant major cities around you; Valdosta, Tallahassee, Gainesville, and Jacksonville.
There are multiple spots here for RVs and trailers, as well as pretty much free rein of the property, but be warned, I just purchased it and I'm still chopping trees, so she's not a pretty sight and I don't have facilities yet.The property is laid out in a 4 acre rectangular pattern where you have free reign to park your RV, or pitch your tent, as the area is very open and there is even a patch of trees.
There are no amenities, so if you need, food, water, bathrooms, laundry and a shower, the Love's truck stop has all of those things and can be accessed by foot through a field nearby, or by car.
Nearby is Madison Blue Spring State Park, if you decide to stay for a while. The Florida Trail, as well as Twin Rivers State Forest is also nearby.
As far as what there is to do on the land? Not much, if anything at all. If you want to use it as a base to see the surrounding areas of Florida, it'll provide a cheap stay in order to do that to the fullest. You can also just stay a night or two and rest your weary head my fellow travelers!
