I have been warmly welcome by James... The place is great to camp in the middle of farm animals... James explained me about their farm and their involvement to eat local foods....It was very interesting and really nice to talk with him.
I will recommend to stay there for the place and also to help them in their great projects

Home, home on the farm...
It’s rustic, bucolic spot. I loved it. Sorry the relentless rain expedited our hasty departure.

The Lazy F
The Lazy F Buckingham is your chill farm and friends experience. Courtney, your host, is jolly and eager to show you around the farm. The farm is 5 acres that she and her husband live on in Fort Myers, only 10 miles from downtown. There are two pastures on either side of the drive as you enter the farm, horses on one and pigs and goats on the other. Also resident on the farm is a sprawling family of rabbits, a miniature steer named Ferdinand, a farm cat, two dogs (Waffles and Bailey) and a gang of hens and roosters. While we were there I saw the smallest piglet I have ever seen, about the size of a chihuahua! The goats are as friendly as the dogs, so make sure you go IN their pasture for some kisses!
There is plenty of space for you to set up camp. It was a bit hot the day we were there so we pulled up under a shade tree where a hammock is already hanging for you to kick back. There is also plenty of wide open sunshine to pick from as well. There was another couple camping at the same time and we were each able to see each other but not hear each others conversations. There is also a large pond with some chairs set up to enjoy the view. This is the perfect camping spot to have a fire so bring something to grill or marshmallows to toast!
Behind the hosts house is a small trailer named Tammy that has running water to the kitchen sink, a place to sit and hang out, and a flushable toilet (just don’t flush the paper, put it in the wastebasket.) She also provides coffee pods and machine, tea, and a few snacks!
The sky at night is dark! It is also very quiet until it’s time to wake up (the roosters might be your alarm clock ;) )
We highly recommend the Lazy F Buckingham! Courtney and her husband are very relaxed and really welcome you to their little piece of heaven.
