A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want than this may not be your kind of place.

Beautiful land, and very convenient! The road was close, but it wasn't too disturbing with some ear plugs. Hosts were nice and the property is well maintained. Camp sites were much too close/lacked privacy (would love to have had more bushes, 1,- 4 sites were night next to each other), and more than one portapotty (which seems doable since he owns many). Overall it was perfect for what we needed, a quick place to spend the night last minute. We felt safe and enjoyed the beautiful trees and ponys.

All reviews were in accordance with what we expected and experienced - we had one overnight stop going south and returned for another 3 nights going north. We were the only ones at the RV side of the pond so it gave us lots of privacy. Lovely people, nice outside shower and no other “noise” than the traffic on the road. But that is just the way it is. Having alligators in the pond made it also exotic for us. An easy spot to find and close to the main highway too.

We booked a 2nd night. The outdoor shower is amazing. We stayed on lots 2 & 4. Will rebook on 4 (just my preference). Its all about what you're looking for. I haven't stayed at a site that has recent pics on the hip camp site. Don't expect it and you wont be disappointed. I LOVED THIS PLACE. I dont know any tent campers that would not love this place ( I know 0 Glampers). There are hidden treasures all over this property. We had a ball. Enjoy and DONT SKIP THE HONEY! There is reportedly an alligator in the pond. I didn't see it and we all left better than we arrived

I really like the setup, they have a lot of land my spot was in the trees nice and shady all day long. There was noise from the main road + 95 it was the weekend. The price was good similar to paying at a local campsite 🏕️

It was good, mostly. It has a fun & funky feel to the place. We felt safe…. The down was that the porta-toilets had not been empied in a while. You need to find the cool outdoor shower by the barn. It isn’t marked well. There are not picnic tables, but there some old chairs, benches, & a half table you can move to your site. We were their only guests on the night we stayed.

Always a great time… the hosts Christine and Cal are very nice…. The horse are adorable…. Great place to get away, safe and secure place to unwind, but close enough to the world to go eating and exploring.. can’t wait to go back again soon..

Our experience with Christine and Cal's land was great! They were friendly and VERY good hosts. Our site was nice, clean and private. We had a very nice view of the sun setting, and the wind flowing thru the trees at night was calming. Im definitely returning to experience the other sites in the near future. I definitely recommend booking a site with Christine and Cal, GREAT people!

Christine and Cal have an amazing property. Their campgrounds are clean, well maintained and have all the amenities to make your stay even better. Shower by the barn, portable toilets around the property. Both Christine and Cal are very responsive, friendly and welcoming. Would recommend their campsite to anyone thinking of booking with them! Thank you for your hospitality!

In a word: outstanding. Christine and Cal are amazing hosts really going above and beyond and wanting you to feel safe and comfortable. The space is great with perfect amenities (water, hot outside shower, portable john, etc just like in the listing). They keep everything super clean and well-maintained. Others mentioned road noise--it's convenient because it's right off the road. My site was probably the closest one to it. During the day, you can hear cars of course, but at night there was no noise and I slept great! Book this place!

Can’t rave enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The hosts were so welcoming and kind. The vibe was super chilled. Loved the cute little ponies, the tranquil pond and the lush landscaping. We will definitely be back and hopefully get to see the peacocks next time! Highly recommend🥰

Great spot in an area that is hard to find camping. Yes, there is a little road noise but nature was alive at night. Love the entire set-up and spacing of sites. Highly recommend!

I love camping here. It's always quiet, clean well-kept property. The porta potties are always clean in the outdoor shower is nice but the water could be a little bit hotter. I have no complaints. I will be camping here in the future.

Me and my family really enjoyed ourselves. We tried fishing no luck but still had fun. Only thing I would recommend is maybe a lantern and pile of firewood for each site would be nice and helpful. Definitely would book again tho

We had an ok stay. We stayed here primarily for the location to the event we had over the weekend. Normally prefer to stay further north and west. The sites did not seem similar to the pictures on the app. They were fairly small and close to each other. The road noise at night is quite considerable. Upon arrival at our site it was littered with garbage including empty water bottles and cigarette butts in the fire pit. It seemed that site 3 was the only one without a table. Restroom and shower facility could use a little help. Shower wall has slits in it you can see through and shower curtain blows along in the wind (little privacy). If you’re paying for honey actively try to message them to get it before your last day otherwise you might not get it. Cleaning after previous campers , toilets and an improved shower.

Every was great!!! 2nd time staying here with Christine and Cal….. very laid back atmosphere beautifully maintained property, hot shower and miniature horses.. this past trip. I had a hawk that pretty much stayed above the tree above my tent and just sat there chilling out looking at me.
