We loved camping at Sweetwater Daze River camp!
The grounds were very well maintained and setup was a breeze.
The river was beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We had a great time hanging out by the river with a nice fire and watching the stars at night.
But the best was going with Jay on a river tour! He has so much local knowledge about the river and the surrounding area. The places we got to see were stunning! So be sure to ask him about his boat tour, you won’t be disappointed.
This is definitely one of our favorite camp sites, we will definitely be back!

This is an awesome site! We had a great time while visiting and the pups even made a few new friends. Jay was super cool and gave us a few tips on places to visit in the area. We were already talking about the "next time" before we left. We will be back soon!

We had a good time. Fished off the sand bar as the river was low. It was quiet and there were some friendly neighborhood dogs our boys played with. Also not far from stores if you forget something

Beautiful spot on the river! Semi secluded campground, peaceful river and a spring not far up it. We brought our kayaks and could have spent more time just exploring the river. We absolutely enjoyed it and plan to come back in the future.
The only inconvenience was access to the river was not the easiest but sufficient.
We had a few friendly pups come by every day to check on us and make sure we didn’t leave any food out. All in all it was a delightful spot and I hope it doesn’t get too much attention because I want it to be available wherever I get the chance to come back!

This campsite is well maintained and beautiful! The host is excellent and the area is very low key. The river level was low, due to the beautiful sunny weather lately, and this makes everything in nature that much more scenic. There is something healing about being outside as the sun comes up and again as the sun goes down, overlooking the water.

Passing by in the night, Jay accommodated us on like 4 hours notice! Easy hookup, even in the dead of night! Woke up on the water, the dogs were able to get their zoomies out after a few days cooped up in the RV! Little fishing hut on the water was a perfect touch! Simple, easy, private, fun! We will definitely be back!
Ask him about his cave exploring, spring floating boat tour add on!!!!! You will NOT be disappointed!

The camp site on Jay’s land was amazing! It was well kept, spacious, and quiet. He has full water, sewer, and electric hookups and the view of the river is unbeatable. I highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely adore this beautiful property!
The river is so pretty and we saw some really unique birds. Everything is quiet and peaceful. It is wonderful to be so close to nice restaurants that are not all a chain. We went to a cute little local bookstore and bought my daughter a book.
Loved making s’mores using the fire pit by the river.
Jay is such a gracious host!!! Enjoyed meeting him and can’t wait to book again!!!!!!!

We had a great time. Wonderful view. Plenty of space. The river came with some wonderful surprises. Jay himself was a great host. I needed another 50 foot extension cord and jay brought me one in less than an hour. He even offered to take us out on his boat. Unfortunately we were ready to leave. The spring was small but beautiful and 2 out of 3 times going we had the place to ourselves. We will be back when it's not 100 degrees

We have enjoyed staying on the beautiful river here several times now! Every time we stay, no matter the month or the weather, it is always a much needed trip full of rest, relaxation and peace and quiet. We sat by the water, watched and listened to nature, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire and took our kayak and paddle board up to the spring nearby to swim. Since we stayed a little longer this time, Jay offered to come by and cut the grass...and ended up finishing up in the rain. I can't say enough good things about Jay and his wife's hospitality and the campsite itself! We are hoping to come back in a few months! There are plenty of great places to visit in the area and explore. Also, restaurants and shopping a short drive away. We just choose to stay and rest near the water when we come. Definitely recommend this Hipcamp!

We loved staying w/ Jay. It's quiet and peaceful. Jay was super easy to work with. He even met us there to help if needed, checked in w us frequently and offered us his canoe. We'd definitely stay there again.

We had a decent experience. We were looking for a secluded site and the listing was a bit misleading in that regard. There was little shade or tree coverage for privacy and the site was pretty exposed to the road with more traffic than we would've liked. While we were the only campers on the site itself, it was very near neighbors that drove in/out throughout the night with their lights flashing into our tent. There was a steady stream of music and loud voices regularly coming from next door. We brought our very well trained dog with us and several other dogs wandered into our camp during our stay, muddy and wet from the river, and one even peed on the corner of our tent. Having loose pets in the area should have been communicated by the host. Overall the site was well maintained. The stairs to the river were very convenient as were the electric and plumbing. The host provided firewood which was much appreciated.

This little spot on the river is so quiet. Perfect getaway to relax. Surrounding area is peaceful, just sit by the river and listen to nature. We will definitely be back!

Loved this riverfront campsite! Everything is well maintained and taken care of. We paddle boarded, fished and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The river is beautiful and the small spring is very close by. Definitely on our favorites list!
