Sunflower Farm is a delightful property nestled in a secluded private area surrounded by over 700 acres of un developed private land. Wildlife can be seen and heard on the Sunflower Farm to include longhorn cows, turkeys and many bird life and sounds with an occasional deer and peacock siting's . This farm is located in the bend of Florida on the Gulf where there are lots of activities to experience in the area to include; kayaking, biking, fishing, boating, manatee siting's & tours, state parks, natural springs and MUCH MUCH MORE! Along with many wonderful local restaurants with fantastic food and water views that include music and entertainment and beautiful memorable sunsets. And lets not forget Monkey Island on the River where you can dine or boat around the monkeys Island and watch them in their river habitat. Sunflower Farm is just 6.5 miles to Crystal River going North on Hwy 19 in Citrus County and just 6.5 miles going South where many of the activities are mentioned, to enjoy, along with boat ramp access in those areas to the Gulf. Also you are just a little over 1 hour from Tampa, Gainesville or Orlando Florida where you can experience a vast selection of adventures with just taking a day trip. And just 30 minutes away from the property there is the Buccaneer Bay Water Park, a State Park and Florida's only spring-fed waterpark with slides, a lazy river and mermaid shows located inside the Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. Homosassa is also a great area to stay for Florida's Scallop Season which runs from around the end of June to end of September (check the year schedule) every year. So come stay at our Sunflower Farm and have an adventure to treasure always.

This is a lovely cleared and maintained grassy corner of our Sunflower Farm that is approx. 40ft. x 60ft. This space backs up to over 700 undeveloped acres of farm land where you, on occasion, can see cows and other wild life. This spot is a grassed area that is shady under watering oak trees and other trees for comfort. The ground is on a slight slope just enough for the water to drain and stay dry when raining without puddling water. You can hear and see wildlife on this property for an outdoor camping experience but is just 7 miles from water access, restaurants and shopping for your convenience. Although this site doesn't have water access on it there is water access on the property to fill up any needs you may have.

This Site has the best views of the property. Full 30/50 amp Hook Up with Wi-Fi, water and garbage P/U. Beautiful Oak tree in front of the spot that overlooks the property . This site is pretty level but depending how long you are you might have to level out some. You have to pull forward on the driveway and back into the spot. Its very high and dry in rainy weather. There is concrete for lots of set up space for rug, grills etc.

Diane and Chris's property was perfect. The property itself is beautiful and nicely tucked away for some peace and quiet while still being very convenient to normal amenities and the special aspects of the Homosassa and Crystal River area. Our dogs had lots of space to roam and were particularly fond of Diane. Diane and Chris were both extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had whatever we needed. Diane is such a kind soul; she made excellent recommendations for the area and continually offered us amenities and help. One of our dogs got sick and she even kept checking in on her the rest of our stay. By far a favorite spot and favorite hosts for us.

Shady Oak Pad

We had an amazing weekend getaway at the serene Shady Oak Pad and it's safe to say we'll be returning soon. The secluded four-acre site provided us with the perfect retreat as we were the sole guests, allowing our dogs to roam freely without any disturbance! We are truly grateful for the exceptional hospitality extended to us by Diane, who ensured our stay was nothing short of perfect.

Secluded spot. Lovely trees. Nice level area and pad. Diane was very generous and allpwed us access to some amenities at her cabin. We would definitely stay again!
