1.25 acres located in a rural neighborhood just 10 minutes from shops of Crystal River and the Gulf of Mexico. Learn more about this land: A very quiet, safe country neighborhood setting...yet only ten minutes from swimming with the manatees, kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding etc in crystal clear rivers, springs, and King Bay. Each site is spacious, and has its own firepit and picnic table. Great for bird and squirrel watching, reading a book, star gazing, sleeping, or just chillin by your campfire. The big back porch Is open to sit in the rockers, chat, or observe the many birds and squirrels running and playing and eating under the wild plum garden. You’ll also find a cornhole game there to share. We have quaint village shopping, great seafood restaurants, ice cream shoppes, and many bike or jogging paths all over the county...one paved path runs alongside the Barge Canal all the way to the Gulf, with covered houses and picnic tables built along the Canals edge...bathrooms provided along the path. So much beauty and fun surrounds our area...Homosassa Wildlife Park, WeekiWachee/Home of the Live Mermaids, tubing down the Rainbow 🌈 River, and north of us in Ocala...you can ride the glass bottomed boats at Silver Springs. Our Gulf fishing is pristeen and if you get lucky...we have an outdoor fishcleaning sink! Our neighbors cow pasture is alongside the back of our property and has proved to be a great attraction for the kids and the adults especially the big black cow #36...😂🤣. Crystal River has many boat captains with tour boats for touring the manatees, diving, fishing, scalloping in season, etc...kids love the new splash pad downtown and Hunters Spring Park has a nice sandy beach, picnic tables, kayak launching area, and a boardwalk for observing marine life and occasional manatees. Three Sisters Spring has hundreds of manatees this time of year with a huge boardwalk surrounding the spring for observation. There are kayak rentals if you choose not to bring your own. Guess to nutshell what I’m trying to say....Crystal River is a great place to visit, have fun, eat good, and enjoy the many blessings that our Nature Coast offers.

Betty's place is so peaceful!

Such a nice quiet camping experience with friends. Betty's place is so peaceful! She was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. Fire pits were great and she has firewood too. Our pets loved the large property and got some much needed exercise. We are looking forward to our next stay at Betty's HipCamp!!

Site 2 - Storman Family Campground

We love the space we were able to have at Miss Betty's! Her yard gives each camper plenty of room to spreadout and enjoy some peace and quite. We felt right at home. Hook-ups and yard were very accessible, and level. We enjoyed Rainbow Springs, Homosassa Springs, Crystal River and Ocala horse country from this site.

Can’t say enough!

The sweetest lady! Miss Betty greeted us upon arrival. She mentioned that the property had spring water and that I would love washing my hair. She was absolutely right!! The site was so spacious and beautiful. We were grateful for the reasonable price that Miss Betty asked. More hosts should do so. Hook ups were along the back fenced area with plenty of room for maneuvering. We felt safe on the property. She invited us to sit on her back porch and to enjoy the water wheel garden area. Every morning we would see several red bird males and females chirping in a group of small trees. She had a few friendly cats that did not concern themselves with our pooch or she with them. Crystal River was about 10 miles and we especially enjoyed Rainbow Springs State Park. We even extended our stay and will be certain to stop and stay again if ever in the area again.

Betty is such a wonderful host! We were treated like family!! Very helpful with all of the details upon arrival and departure. The site was spacious, and the hookups were very conveniently located. We will definitely be staying again soon! Heidi

Camping with lots of fun !

We just love going to the Storman Hipcamp ! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves camping ! Not far to go and do anything that you want to do ! We always stay at The Storman Hipcamp! So peacefull and quiet. Mrs.Betty treats everyone like Family and will do whatever she can do to make you feel right at home !

Staying at Betty's HipCamp was so peaceful. She was the perfect host. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
