Swamp Paradise 🚣 in the Forest 🌴
I really like adventure and go to unique places. Although the road to get here is narrow the drive is definitely worth it. Very nice place.

Swamp Paradise 🚣 in the Forest 🌴
Where to start! Sandy is AMAZING. Super accommodating, kind, and the best maker of saw palmetto fans in the area! Booked last minute and everything went super smooth. Bunch of space for tents, tarps, freestanding pop-up tents/canopies, there’s even a massive shed with mosquito netting that you can use as a starting point for an improv shelter.
Honestly, Hipcamp limits how much I can type, but this place is absolutely incredible, Sandy is super nice, the location is gorgeous, the wildlife was surprisingly well behaved (to include the insects), and my friends and I will definitely be back!
Left a bit of firewood and my old bushcraft axe on site for anyone who might need it! Hope everyone else loves this location as much as we did!

Magical
Sandy’s place is truly magical, and Sandy herself could not be sweeter or more hospitable, she went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. We cannot wait to go back to her beautiful forest paradise, highly recommend!!!!

Swamp land of Florida...
Don't pass this gem up.
This place is wonderful, such a beautiful little piece of happiness. The hosts are such great folks, we spent a few hours talking one morning and ended up stopping by his church for a short time. "The Promise" is their house they are building, you should ask him the story behind the house. I started my stay for 2 days and ended up staying 4. It was a trip I will forever cherish.

Cool if you want remote, kinda scar
Very nice host, cool spot, just know it's almost a mile of off road mud trail through this vegetation to a very remote spot. Nothing around, which can be very cool if that's what you want, but a bit unnerving to be in middle of swamp with locals firing guns in the distance, and a long trail requiring off road vehicle capabilities to get there.
It's a clearing at end of long mud trail with a cracked mirror and abandoned hunting shelter with a few neighbors nearby all with No Trespassing signs posted.
Can be amazing for some craving an off the grid wilderness experience, could also be a little scary for others who want to just camp out without having fear of being in Deliverance.
