Good, simple camp spot near the springs. Clear directions, easy to access driving a van & vehicle in-tow (dirt road could be a challenge in heavy rain). Flat areas for tents, picnic table was so handy, & the fire pit was delightful.

Really cool place and all to yourself! Thanks again Eric!

Good little spot tucked off the road. Mosquitos were not bad at all! We’re from florida and we were hardly bothered. The springs were closed for swimming when we were there, but we went to some other nearby springs and had a great time.

Great private campsite
Very private campsite that is right next to a state park. The lights along the perimeter that came on at night were a nice touch. Everything was just like the pictures.

So close to blue springs, secluded
Perfect very large, very private campsite! Closest place to camp near Madison Blue Springs (literally right across the road). Nice picnic table, fire pit, & out house. They even had firewood provided!! Highly recommend. A little highway noise at night but very tucked away in the woods so it feels like you are miles away from it all. We played music & didn’t have to worry about disturbing our neighbors (bc we didn’t have any). Our dog loved it too ❤️

Sweet little campsite!
I loved the swing and the teepee fort was well crafted. We had a nice campfire one night and enjoyed the safety of the campsite! I would bring earplugs if I were tent camping because the cars going over the bridge down the road could be loud at night. The fireflies came out at night in the woods and the little solar lights on the ground were comforting. The spring is 1 minute away, it’s perfect! We had a great time here!

“Spring” Adventure
Really love this area as you are within walking distance to the Spring. Site was clean and they supplied tiki torches, goggles and snorkel, and plenty of pre-cut firewood. Open and very kid-friendly. Highly Recommend!!

Great camping site!
My son and I spent a weekend her recently and absolutely loved the place. Very secluded, clean, and beautiful. The place is set up very nice, tent area flat and free of debris/roots. There is a sandbox and area for kids to play. Outhouse was especially clean for an outhouse. Fire pit was well built and placed. Hosts were above and beyond communicative and accommodating, typically it’s almost impossible to get answers as you plan a vacation and the response was very fast and pleasant. Would recommend 11/10! Will be back with rest of family more than once.

The perfect get away. Land was perfect, trail was cleared and marked. Out house was actually very nice. It was quiet, except for the road noise. Highly recommend!

Other than people questioning why you're parked there, everything was great! Nice and secluded. Not too far out from town if you need something but far enough you aren't bothered.

Great remote location
I loved the area. It was fenced and the camping site was cleared. There was a covered restroom and tiki torches.

Low cost and easy to find camping spot for those needing a quick place to pitch one or two small tents. Eric gave great directions and communicated quickly. This was an easy stay as I only needed to camp for one night as I was traveling through the area.
Some things to note:
- If you are on a motorcycle or low traction vehicle, the campsite is down a (short) loose sand road so use caution.
- There is a highway close by that you will hear during the day and a bit at night but it’s not as bad. You will be able to sleep fine.
- The camping area is down a path about 100’ so you’re not parking directly next to the site.
- It is also a pretty small clearing in the woods, with a cleared flat area large enough for 1-2 small tents. There is a small fire pit area as well but otherwise it is forested.
Overall for $10 it’s a nice place to spend a night in the woods!

Beautiful hidden campsite
This well defined campsite is cut out in thick woods about a 100 foot walk into the woods. The numerous pine trees scattered through out the site is great for hammock camping. Only down side is the thorn plants surrounding the site. Stayed two extra nights because of how much girlfriend and I enjoyed the site

Cool Place
This place was really nice! Eric our host was very accommodating. Its the perfect little gateway that we have been looking for. With a very cool set up, its clean and Its only about a minute walk from parking(on the side of the street, right underneath the parking sign with motion sensor lights. A word of advice from a friendly neighbor, try to avoid parking anywhere on the sand. Don’t want to get rear ended) We really enjoyed our quite time there and will definitely come back for some relaxing time and outdoor activities since its only 1/4 mile from state park. Just make sure to bring bug spray, if you can come up with something to have extra tick prevention, that would be advised!
