Sarah's site was well off the beaten path; old Florida country at it's best! The camps have an unobstructed view of the river, with easy access to the dock. Lots of old growth trees for canopy. Sarah was very communicative, willing to work with us as we chose parking for the RVs and overall happy to help.
Electric & water hookups are a bit farther away than we were used to, but she told us ahead of time and we were able to bring the connectors needed.
Definitely recommend to those seeking a true "get away" without an abundance of unnecessary amenities & people.

Site 1 - River Life Retreat
Debbie was extremely helpful to us. We are newbie RV owners and this was our first trip out. We knew there would be a lot to learn and Debbie was so wonderful and really helped us out! The site is remote and private and our doggies just loved it too. We enjoyed the new dock and sat right on the water enjoying the sounds of the birds and frogs.

It's very quiet & peaceful. Ms. Debra was so very kind, accommodating, bent over backwards hospitable when my reservation got messed up....she made sure we were ok. She went above and beyond anything I could ever hope for. Not only would use her services again, but I made a new friend 🥰

Blissful peace and quiet. Debbie is a very gracious hostess who met us on the main road and guided us to her property. GPS is unreliable. 20 amp service available but bring a 20 amp extension cord. Recommend using a water filter. We bring our own drinking water anyway. Downside is sketchy cell phone service but that was okay.

The river is gorgeous, the location is generally quiet and Debra was very helpful and attentive. She helped me access a kayak trail that began at a spring that I couldn't have done alone. My only criticism is the 'potable water' posting. I drank some and was fine, but even as an experienced hiker, I was apprehensive. I would strongly advise bringing your own water if you don't have a filter on your RV or a hand filter.

Such a hidden gem ! Gorgeous set up along the suwanee .Quiet and lots of wildlife to take in along the river . Absolutely perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of state parks or private campgrounds! host is fabulous

River Life Retreat was a unique jem to find and experience. Our stay was tranquil and relaxing with the sounds of nature all around. We were able to book our stay during the lunar eclipse. What an awesome site to view the event with a night sky full of stars and the fireflies all around including the calls of night owls. Debra was the perfect host , checking on us each day asking if we needed anything. I felt safe and secure even in the remote location. Well worth the three hour drive. We hope to be back soon.

This retreat was absolutely beautiful! It was also very peaceful. and a fantastic place to just walk away from the busy pace of our lives, and to just take a deep breath, and be thankful for the peace all around us.

River Life Retreat
We loved our stay on the River! We’ve been staying at a lot of different hipcamps and this is our favorite so far! Feel like we are really camping, in the woods right on the Suwannee River. But with reliable power and water. Debbie is the best host! Extremely friendly and accommodating. She went above and beyond when our Excursion needed a new transmission and we stayed for longer than expected. Beautiful woods setting, quiet and peaceful. There is a mile loop dirt road that we walked our dogs on every day. We made friends with the visitors staying at the cabins next door. Went on a canoe trip down the Suwannee River and visited the nearby springs. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

River Life Retreat
This is a great space. On the west bank of the Suwannee. Quiet but not isolated. We had a grassy, shaded, waterfront site. Plenty of room to back in a trailer. We cary our own power but our host very graciously made a 20 camp outlet available. Bring your own water.
I can't say enough positive things about our host. She made herself available for help in finding our way after a misleading gps direction.
Great spot for just relaxing or exploring the Nature Coast of Florida. We'll be back.

Peaceful night by the River

River Life Retreat
Debra has a great spot for anyone with a trailer or tent. She was extremely kind and accommodating. We booked the site last minute. She met us a few hours later by the main road and guided us into the site. Made sure we had all we needed before leaving us to enjoy a peaceful night and incredible view of the river, sunset, and star filled sky.

The view is simply stunning. Silence is bliss here. Debra is very nice and helpful, she even noticed our tires were a bit low and offered a solution. This is an amazing place for your self, others, family, or not! There is plenty to do here and lots of things in a short distance from camp. Downfall is mosquitos and limited cell reception, but if this is the worst thing that can be said I believe this is a great camp. This is a territory for all of your loved ones, so please do not hesitate to bring your loves whether 🐈 🐕 🐸 or 🐦!
