Perfect Stayover or
Quaint and friendly site/host. We have a large Class A motorhome and it was a bit tight (41 feet). I would recommend turning the rig around upon arrival if you want to leave early the next day so you’re ready to go. We weren’t in a hurry and knew we could wait for our neighboring site to clear out so we pulled in and enjoyed a private area facing trees/fence to walk our dogs. As other reviews have stated, it is a bit noisy until 9 or 10, but similar to what you’d expect at a KOA or RV park. It is peaceful and serene and we really enjoyed our stay.

Stargazing and serenity
Vervica’s property is serene and simple. Her and her daughters are a delight. We decided at the last minute we wanted to camp under the stars in back of our truck. It was perfect. The night sky was breathtaking. We will definitely be back.

Helpful Services & Good Location
We tow a 37 ft fifth wheel and as promised, they fit us in! The site wasn’t glamorous by any means and none of the fruit trees were producing or in picking season but all of their foliage made it a pretty place to park. We took the first site after pulling back down the drive and WiFi provided was very good, perfect for our day of remote work and school while we visited. Good location for us to go visit Biscayne NP & Key Largo: John Pennekamp SP. Conveniences nearby. Must make the one mile drive to Robert is Here Fruit Stand and Petting Zoo as well as the Everglades National Park (we had just been prior at Long Pine Key Campground). This was actually more money than parking in the national park but we needed WiFi and to be closer to the other spots we had on our list to visit. The host was helpful to us upon arrival and on a Friday night they were full! weeknights only hosted us and another camper. A fire pit was provided that we utilized and my kiddos had fun playing “wild kids” collecting things around the yard and what not. It is buggy! So is all of south Florida. The massive fire pit full of yard waste was an eye sore but a part of keeping the yard clean and maintained for hipcamp I’m sure! I’d recommend a stop here, as a big rig, only a few nights would be doable with the nearest dump station being over 20 minutes away at the county park.

Vervica is a great host. We enjoyed meeting the other nice people that were camping there. Great, affordable spot to head to Key Largo and the Everglades. Check out Miami Brewing and Robert is Here Fruit Stand.

Add Fruit&Spice Park to your listin
This site ended up being more private than we expected upon arrival. Vervica was attentive & quick to respond to anything I asked her. She was helpful when we arrived - figuring out where our campsite was & where we would fit best with our camper. This property was close to so many things! We enjoyed the everyone's alligator farm, Robert is Here, The Fruit & Spice Park guided tour & drive the shirt distance down to the Keys multiple days. It worked perfectly for us & what we were planning to experience in the general area.

A wonderful camping experience
My girlfriend and I absolutely LOVED staying at Redlands!! We stayed in the lovely tent with the very comfortable bed and fun arcade game. The hosts were extraordinarily kind and welcoming!! The campsite was safe, clean, and beautiful and we were able to comfortably meal prep and cook right by the fire. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for a magical get-away!!

This was an absolute perfect place to tent camp. Vervica was friendly and hospitable. She answered all of our questions. The whole process from booking the spot to finding the location to checking in was easy and efficient. This place is close enough to hop onto US-1 to get to the Florida Keys if that's your plan. There were other campers and everyone was polite and pleasant. I will definitely be back to camp here again. I highly recommend this spot.

We Loved staying at Vervica's!
The camping sites were all very clean. Although the camping sites are in her backyard, there is still alot of privacy thanks to alot of bushes and trees.
Vervica is such a great, super friendly, and courteous host. They went out of their way to make our stay great.
It is a little difficult to find the campground, but Google Maps shows the right directions.
They provide a "Pop-up pod" toilet tent with smell-neutralizing bags for disposing the wastes in the nearby trash can.

First Glamping Experience!
This was my first "glamping" experience and I am hooked now! I used to do more primitive camping, but wanted a more luxurious experience, and I got one at Redlands Escape. The tent was large and bed was comfy. The toilet is inside the tent and was so convenient--its a standard looking toilet except with a bag with desiccant in it. Outside the tent theirs a fire pit with a metal grate so you can cook over it, which I did. There's a cabinet with a few supplies and you can keep your things in it. There's also a picnic table. It all fit together so well. It was easy to find and you can check your self in, but I had the pleasure of meeting the hostess, Vervica who was extremely friendly and positive. There is one other campsite at the property that is in view of glamping tent. There's a few other campsites on the property that are not in view of the glamping tent. I would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The lush tropical fruit trees and the close proximity to Everglades National Park made this an amazing stay, but the host and her daughter are what really make this place. They were so kind and accommodating and cheerful... they are working really hard to transform this space into something special (and they are definitely going to succeed!). We stayed in the canvas tent, and the bed was very comfortable, the sheets nice and clean, the wooden furnishings rustic and the Adirondack chairs perfect for enjoying the stars. Thank you for hosting our family!

We had a so so experience at Redlands. There was no one to greet us and it was unclear where we could park/camp since there was already a few other tents occupied the space but no one in sight. Also not a quiet place the day we were there (loud music, motocross/4wheeler/road noise, fire crackers) for most of the evening. Toilet offered was clean and functional.

Vervica's land is beautiful- fruit trees, plenty of space for a small camper or an RV or tents. Definitely dog friendly and convenient to Miami/the Everglades. The neighborhood is residential so expect to hear some noise, but we didn't notice much after 9 or 10 pm. Very pleasant stay- and Vervica is a wonderful and communicative host!
